Holiday HeroClix Thread!

AFi is proud to team up with the HeroClix Online team to bring you an exclusive holiday object that you can use IN GAME!

Now you can get an exclusive digital piece of the man himself – SANTA! Follow these simple steps and the might Mr. Clause can help out your other digital clix on their campaigns.

Entering is easy!

But there are two things you need to do first.

#1- Sign up for HeroClix Online – join the paid beta/create an account: http://hco.heroclix.com/

#2 - Sign up for the Action Figure Insider message boards.

Once you have done that- Now comes the fun part!

Starting today and running until Jan 4th 2012 -Take a picture of ANY Heroclix from any year, and series (physical or digital) in a festive holiday setting (Christmas, Chanukah, Festivus, Kwanza) and post it in THIS thread on the AFi message boards. Remember- you will need to be a member of our boards to post. (You can sign up for the boards here).

Just post the picture in the thread and you will be PM’ed a code for your new holiday object.

ONE CODE PER ACCOUNT/I.P. Address/email address!

Sign up, post a picture, get a code!

To use your new Holiday object in game (purchase of HeroClix Online game required):

Launch HeroClix Online
Click the “Redeem Key” button on the Welcome screen
Enter your key exactly as it appears
Click “Submit”
Your new object will appear in your inventory. Use your new object as an obstacle for, or to attack, opponents during a match or tournament!

Well all my physical clix are in storage (my parents house). So I decided to go the digital route like Time.

My Christmas team. Odin, Volstagg (with milk and cookies in hand) and Kingpin as Santa. Pip is obviously another elf, like the one Volstagg is standing on. Kurse is a Nutcracker. Blizzard is Jack Frost. And last but certainly not least Ultron is the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past From the Future with his trademark smoke. He clearly must be about to tell a story.

What browser are you using? I find it works best in Firefox.

You using ImageShack or somebody else?

Its image shack. I just uploaded the pic above. Click on the text below the text box which says:
"click here to upload an image"

Note - I am not posting an entry, just explaining how I got this to work.
