I'm trying to upload a jpg file from an SD card, using Firefox, but the image upload keeps failing. Any recommendations?

What are you trying to upload it to? A third-party image hosting site?

The image uploader here never works anymore. It's easier to just use a third party site like Photobucket and then use the image tags

Not with Firefox it doesn't. Maybe it's fixed now but I gave up using it because it would never load anything.

My post was done with Firefox. That's the only browser I use.

I just did this through firefox as well...

Maybe try saving the images off the SD card onto the computer, and then uploading...

About the current image uploader not working - it does work on Firefox (which is what I recommend for everyone to use). Having said that, I do concede that not everyone wants to use Firefox and that the uploader is somewhat unreliable on other browsers. But I'm gonna be fixing that soon (hah, I think I already said that back in 2008 :wink:

).

In the meantime, click on the link I posted above and use that for the time being.

I had no problems with Firefox on Wednesday but I haven't been able to upload any images since Thursday. I've tried reinstalling Firefox, making the image files smaller, MACs, PCs, and computers using different computers around the city. No luck. Google Chrome, Safari, Maxthon, no luck. Is there a problem w/ the AFI website that might have just developed?

Same thing here. I was trying since yesterday to upload the Aqualad stealth scan to the checklist thread, and nothing would work. I too tried different browsers on different computers. Still no joy. All I get when I try is "Image Upload Failed". It's not a huge deal to me since I just used photobucket, but the uploader won't work no matter what I try.
