Are you interested in the last JLU figures
Yes. $50 a 3-pack is worth it to me to finish off the line and be complete. 69%  69%  [ 173 ]
Maybe. I'll do what I did with the rest of the line and pick and choose the ones that I want. 8%  8%  [ 20 ]
Nope. $50 for a 3-pack of 4" figures (with repacked figures I already have) is just too rich for my blood. 16%  16%  [ 39 ]
GAH! I want these so much but $50? I guess I could donate plasma or sell a kidney on ebay. 4%  4%  [ 10 ]
What? They are still making JLU figures? 3%  3%  [ 8 ]

Maybe I'm having a brain cramp, but are there six or three three-packs remaining? I read $300 and was in  because I was under the impression there were three...

There are six 3-packs left. 50 each.

And hopefully one 6-pack at 100 each.

I think the question now is, when will they announce their decision? It seems like ToyFair but I think it would be a little weird to have the same figures displayed last year get display this year again. Plus they did have the "Final Year" tag on the JLU picture last year at ToyFair as well.

Yes. But they might show the six pack with it as something new because that was never officially announced by them. :p

You're insane if you think that 6-pack they mentioned is being shown at Toy Fair.

As for me, I got tired of waiting for that 6-pack, so me and stjuggernaut worked together to make this one.
I'm working on Firefly next.

Mattel has not recently to my belief said anything regarding the jlu line or they're plans...... They could be making the packs right as we speak

Daniel addressed this in the Ask Matty thread.

They haven't made any decisions yet. I wouldn't expect to hear anything until Toy Fair.

Even then they may not announce anything. It's my understanding that Toy Fair is for retail chains. They may have some online announcements, but I wouldn't bank on it. TG did say over in the Matty forums that they STILL have no plans for a GL animated line. Contradicting the leak of Kilowog we saw on Ebay, etc. I have no idea what's going on over there. LOL

I don't think they will say anything about it even at toyfair because they're Isnt a huge amount of fans who want it, and that's precious time that they could be using introducing other toys. But then again this might re-introduce jlu to the fans who forgot it and ditched for other toy lines early on and might enlarge the baseline more for these final 3 packs and then we can hope we get the final 6 pack after that. - kalibak

I'm sure they'll have another collector's event to coincide with Toy Fair as they've done in past years and announce/show everything then.

Yeah, I still have been paying attention even though I've been on a break. ;)

Peace,

Chip

And now folks, please look carefully at the elusive Marillion. Once commonly found across all parts of AFI, it is now much rarer. To actually catch a glimpse of it in it's native environment is a special treat indeed...

Hehe - and welcome back Chip.

And as far as JLU, I'll be genuinely shocked if we see anything at Toy Fair. We have better odds of seeing something regarding GL:TAS I think.

Mattel is planning its Collector Night for Sunday, Feb. 12, at Toy Fair. Mattel uses the event to reveal a variety of toys available to adult collectors through MattyCollector and at retailers.

It would be a good opportunity for the company to make an announcement about the future of the JLU line.

I get the sense that Mattel might want these last figures over and done with. JLU is after all, their past and not their future. I think we'll see something announced at Toy Fair regarding when the first three pack goes online.
