I try to watch the Onell blog and I still miss stuff all the time. Sometimes, it's for the best because it saves me money...

Also, I finally had some time to take just a few pics of this year's Galactic Holiday Editions. I'm really enjoying the lavender & turquoise vac-metal.

Is anyone going to Toypocalypse 2 in NYC? I went to the opening last year, and it was a lot of fun. I met some really nice people there, plus the Four Horsemen are cool guys.

I'm thinking of going again this year. I'd love to get a close look at the special edition Outer Space Men figures designed by Mel Birnkrant. They are $125 a set though, so "looking" is all I may be doing.

I received my set of wave 3 & 4 Infinity Editions yesterday and they are freaking awesome. I love this line.

I just wish we'd get more than 4 figures a year!

Alpha 7 is soooooo tiny, but that does not diminish his awesomeness.

There's some great pic out there of hese figures but they really don't do them justice. They're SO much cooler in hand.

My Infinity wave arrived as well. They do look awesome, but I think I prefer the translucent versions over the painted ones.

Mystron is my favorite, with his black wings and black dragon gun. I appreciate how the Four Horsemen are sticking to the original paint scheme, but I'd love to see an all-black Mystron.

I just got a set of the infinity edition. They are great. We talked about them today as we were recording the new episode of "Geek Shall Inherit"

Probably my favorite non-vintage line. Everything I love about action figures! More, please!

Oh, and that poster is rad. Totally want one. Good thing I won't be there :)

Can't wait for the next wave with that Black Lagoon looking guy and the one that looks like Membros. Has there been any more pics since SDCC of those?

I've got two new reviews for OSM Waves 3 & 4 up over at IAT:

Not too many, but the 4H did revist Orbitron after SDCC and Mel Birnkrant posted some images of the new sculpt at FanEx -> http://www.fantasticexclusive.com/fforu ... IC_ID=5858

I met the illustrator at Futuretro. He's a really cool guy named Nate Baertsch. He said he's done some packaging artwork for the 4H, including some for Scarabus.

But as much as I like his work, I still couldn't bring myself to shell out $125 to get the free print.

BTW, the gallery show had samples of the rest of the figures, and a sketch of a new one by Mel Birnkrant. I haven't seen pictures from the show on the 4H site, but they might still be busy with Toy Fair.
