This latest wave looks awesome. Not quite as cool as some of the earlier waves, but still very good.

According to the Lego website, Series 6 is "in stores January 2012".

Me thinks that means we might start seeing them any day now as stores are in the "daily reset/restock" mode until the end of the year.

fingers crossed I find some new minifigs in my stocking ....

Well it is lego and they usually meet (or beat) their in store dates-- but it seems odd- since stores by me have just started putting out series 5 in force---

And although I havent tried it-- IM sure someone has-- the UPC code on the out side of the case is the same as the UPC code on the individual figures- (I scanned the case and it came up 2.99 at a couple of different stores)_- Im sure at some store you could get away for getting the full sealed case of figures at that 2.99 price-- (either at one of those self checkout things-- or with a cashier who is clueless..)

And to be honest it has crossed my mind- more to see it the store is stupid enough to let me do it-- You think someone like lego wouldnt let this happen (most if not all trading cards exterior box bar codes are different than the packs inside)

Ouch Stew. If you are only now seeing wave 5, you are very behind.

These have been out in force since late Aug, early Sept. and TRU even has a dedicated endcap dispenser installed on their Lego aisles to help move this product.

(as of yesterday, my local store had 2 dispensers hanging up and a shelf on the endcap with 12 boxes on it and every one of them had been rifled through already).

Can't wait for Wave 6. Hopefully they will be out in time to get some as stocking stuffers for me and my son.

Considering I've already seen the 2012 Ninjago and Dino-Raiders (or whatever they're called) sets at my TRU, I can't imagine the next set of mini's will be far behind.

What I want is the new DC stuff, though. :(

Don't know if you saw this in the other thread but ...

the "bionicle" style Batman and Joker are now IN STOCK at toysrus.com

Yeah, I have no interest in "Bionicle" versions. My highly articulated versions of superheroes come in action figure form. :D

Of course, I collect mini-mates, so I'll probably just be getting the sets as backdrops and sell the actual minifigs.

Picked up this frame and it fit perfect with the 15 x15 gray base plate.

That's pretty darn cool.

How did you get them to hang like that? Which Lego piece did you hook on there?

I love that you snuck in the Kre-O Optimus Prime as well.

I'll have to try that trick to display mine.
Maybe do a different frame for each of the mini-figure sets ...

I use a 1x2 gray lego brick and attach it to the legs.

Cool. Thanks.

I'll probably end up using two 1x2 FLAT pieces to get them a little closer to the board.
