NYTF - Action League Thread

Discuss all the DC Action League news from the New York Toy Fair here!

There seems to be not much new related to Action League shown so far. well, they might be new to TF buyers, but we saw the groupings of:

Green Lantern and construct
Batman and device
Larfleeze and Glomulus construct
Atom and Plastic Man as a glider
at NYCC in October.

There is that 5 pack of:
Blue Beetle,
Martian Manhunter (phasing)
Batman
Wonder Woman (recent outfit)
Shazam

Might be a 'greatest hits' type of thing.

Toynewsi has some fantastic pics up. The 5-packs has the Batman I wanted so I guess 3 out of 5 in that pack will be enough to make me buy.

Man I almost thought it was going to be Ted Kord for the Blue Beetle.Now if Mattel made a Blue Beetle Booster Gold 2 pack I would be all over that. Kind of an odd pack got a wierd repainted WW,repainted Bats, Phasing MM, BB with hands and SHAZAM. Makes me sad the 2 packs are so lame now I mean a SHAZAM VS Black Adam pack would have been awesome !

You know, I think I remember seeing a picture of a Ted Kord Blue Beetle in a picture for this line a while back.

There's some awesome stuff in that picture that has disappeared.

Yeah I own one of those backdoor prototypes from Ebay of Ted kord. There was a pic of him packaged with Jamie Reyes floating around somewhere. In all honesty if I even think for second Ted Kord is coming I am selling mine off! Hate to be that guy but once I can get him at retail he loses all his appeal. I mean I sold of most of my BATB AL but man the Ted Kord is a nice figure and that line had sooooo much to give. Even the new AL has kind of stalled early if you ask me. I loved the 2 packs at first I mean Flash/Boomer Supes/ Bizzaro Joker/Batman I just thought they would have kept it going. Heck release the BATB Robin/Grundy pack, I honestly thought we would see that Earth-2 Robin long before Bronze Tiger !

I got a Ted Kord off ebay (along with Alloy/Metal Men and all of the Alt. Universe figures from the BATB days) and I love him.

It would make me very happy to get a Booster and Beetle 2 pack with that Ted figure re-released for all.

Now if only I could get my hands on a Grundy and E2 Robin ....

I always look at action league off and on through eBay and I've never seen a Ted Kord. That's one I'd like to have.

I'm a little disappointed to see the only wave shown was wave 6...which we've already seen. But hey, that new packaging looks fantastic!

They did show off that 5-pack too. Everyone seems to be overlooking that one but that's where Captain Marvel fits.

Not overlooking it just was expecting more in the way of Waves for regular release. Captain Marvel looks awesome. I hope it's out soon.
