Not to sound ungrateful, but now's the time to ask if Mongul could get the right skin tone. Also, can Dr. Destiny have more shading on his skull face. I figured it never hurts to ask.

I plan on possibly buying two and repainting him in his "War world" colors anyways, (I prefer those colors to the JLU ones,) but yeah I am just happy we are getting the last JLU at all, so I can finish it and focus on other cool stuff coming out, lol. Considering all the other off color pieces and scale issues in this line, I think this issue is incredibly minor and will only bother a handful of pieces.

Not a big deal to me. Mongul wasn't really as yellow in the JLU cartoon as he is in some of the comic books. I guess a little hint of yellow might be correct but no biggie to me.

It's a real shame that such an easy fix can't be done, this should cost no additional money. In an ideal world, Mattel could just contact DC and the factory and tell them that they've picked a new Pantone color for his skin to be more accurate. DC could respond with a quick e-mail thanking them for catching the mistake and saying that the new shade of yellow looks good and is approved. It would take no more than 5 minutes for all parties to contact each other, and maybe double-check the color with a quick online search of a screen capture from the show.

It really should be a simple fix to get something closer. I'd like any shade of yellow, not peach.

If aything could be changed In my opinion it would be the crack in toymans head. But I think that was fixed.

There is probably 'development cost' and other blah-blah-blah that would get in the way of tweaking Mongul's color. I would like to think that your scenario, DanMan, isn't being ignored. But I doubt the solution would be that easy.

So as far as I'm concerned, you have my full support. And if you also want to include a request for a Volcana/Aquaman switch with one of the big three... I won't object to that either.

I would kill for this. A tenth anniversary 4 pack next year call the mistakes of the line. Volcana corrected, mongul corrected, toyman corrected and dr. Light corrected or another figure that was not corrected.

Great thoughts, but it's never that easy. Manufacturing has many more logistical mess to wade through just to make what seems to be a simple change like this. That color has been chosen by the licensor, and it's documented in the system, the paperwork, and possibly the contracts. It's only 'wrong' from the fans point of view, and you;d be surprised to see how much effort it takes to make these kinds of seemingly simple changes.
