Anything is possible, and I'd like to think that Barry would remember his own nephew, but it doesn't seem like it. Oh. I was mistaken , I thought Scott/TG said the sub would not be a place for possible versions of A-list characters. I see the Allstar line not as some great creative venture but, on paper, a way to increase their margins for this year. There's some characters that were potential DCUC21 and 22, a few repaints, rereleases, and a few figures with little tooling. Whatever, I just have to stop thinking about it so hard and just see it as some crazy hodgepodge, but it's mostly "newish" and "current".
The thing with Wally: It's dumb. Wally is my favorite. But it's DC , so who knows. No one stays dead. Jason Todd taught us this. Heck, they're bringing back Helena Wayne and Powergirl as a former Earth 2 Supergirl and Robin (presumably).

Well, the sales are dropping quickly on many books, so I'm not sure if you were meaning to be serious or facetious...check a sampling of the three month mark on these books: Quote: 09/2011: Action Comics #1 -- 200,947 10/2011: Action Comics #2 -- 153,855 11/2011: Action Comics #3 -- 134,875

Oh I could have told you that! #1 sales are ALWAYS high especially with the hype and press this got... I'm sure #2's won't even suffer the terrible two syndrome. As you see six titles have already been axed to be replaced by six more.

Give it a year or two.
Once the flashy newness wears off a bit and the marketing push has gone, writers will start incorporating some of the real DC history back in. I've seen it a few times, where writers or artists haven't remembered about important changes to a character's personality, background or costume and written them as they remember the characters.
As much as I miss Wally though, I miss Linda more. Before the twins were aged, she was awesome.
Ah well, Boring Barry is back and I suppose we'll have to get used to it for now.

Well of course less people are buying comics since digital is the new form of entertainment. This shouldn't be a surprise. DC can't expect comics to increase in sells and I bet they don't, they are just trying to keep comics alive just like Marvel are doing. Who knows if comics will just go digital in the future or if business will go extinct over free entertainment. Who knows? Why is anyone surprised over decreased sales?

That's what was said originally, so you're not mistaken, completely. I think the original intent was exactly that, but DC put the kibosh on it. Maybe I'm reading into it too much, but when Scott was asked if there were any changes to be made to Platinum and Tin's paint jobs, he deferred to the Horsemen...and when he heard that these colors were approved, he quickly said that there was no change on the horizon. Makes it seem like they're just relieved to get something that not New 52 approved and don't want to push any issues.

I have yet to see a major impact on sales due to digital media. The decrease in these titles is the same as it would have been 10 years ago and 20 years ago during the huge comic speculation boom. This is just the classic case of Issue 1 frenzy. We... you and I will not see the death of paper comics. People like to say we will but then again 20 years ago people also said we'd have flying cars by today. When digital pads are affordable for everyone then we should worry.

The decreased numbers are actually sort of flat compared to pre-reboot... Batman is still selling about the same amount, I believe Green Lantern was selling better before the reboot. All that information is available on Diamondcomics.com I don't memorize sales per numeric number just compare how they do and by what issue number. Superman sales after the initial shock of the first issues of Action and Superman don't seem to have recovered to what they were before his renouncing his American citizenship.
