All this proves right now is the New 52 reboot is like a steroid injection. I want to see what they're doing next year by the 17th issue of each book.

I actually finally dropped all of my comics about 6 months before DCnU. I picked up a dozen titles with DCnU, found several to be too violent for my tastes. Then it hit me. I was no longer used to laying out the cash to buy comics and they seem outlandishly expensive. Sure, I used to spend 40 or 50 dollars a month. Yes, my new expenses were roughly the same. But I still balk at spending any money on them. I've dropped down to 5 titles. Less than 20$ a month. And it still bothers me to spend it. And now the announced next storyline in the Teen Titans turns me off. What does one do when the like the characters but not the stories told? Eventually, I drop the book.

17th issue? We already have 6 that are done. I bet another 6 are replaced before issue 17.

Back to toys.

1. I like that they are giving us Larfleeze. and DCnU Flash and Supeman. and re-relasing Steel in this line.

2. I think the Super Powers Penguin could end up in this line.

3. If they keep the big names, DCnU theme, we could get some new characters like Batwing in this line. Maybe even Huntress.

4. I still feel Flash Point Plastic Man is a really bizarre choice. Mattel could have given us Elongated Man - almost the same costume during his Satellite JLA days, which is the team most folks seem to want Elongated Man for - instead and made a ton of fans happy. Without any other Flash Point versions of characters, Plas feels like an odd duck. I'd also rather have seen a normal Plastic Man, re-release with almost none of the accessories as the original. Who wants a toy of Plastic Man as a villain?

Batwing? Was the best of the New 52 you could think of off the top of your head?

Which non-Batman/Superman family characters are likely for this line?

New 52 versions of Aquaman, Cyborg and Wonder Woman are a bit of a given to finish off the core Justice League. Then there's Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter. The current iterations of Aqualad, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl and maybe Arsenal could probably sell on the popularity of their adult counterparts.

Haven't even considered picking it up. But he does have a bat symbol on his chest.

My bets: DCnU Green Lantern. Not convinced of anyone else.

These are currently covered by the Young Justice line, so I doubt we will see them in DC All Stars.

Interesting numbers Fly. I was about to say though, Green Arrow and Birds of Prey suck after the reboot. I'm not surprised those numbers are lower.

I'm really invested in this line because I want to see DC toys flourish at retail with a mass audience. Because I love DC and "I still believe in heroes" . Ok, silly me, but I want this line to be exciting and adventurous and not just old figures and rereleases, especially with Marvel Legends Out there doing exciting stuff . Examples: Batwing, Batwoman, Red Hood, Frankenstein, Atrocitus (oh never mind), Cyborg, Superboy, Dick Grayson Batman, Damian Robin, Supergirl. Hip new exciting characters with the kids ( okay that's debatable). I don't care much for the subscription, I want Mattel to do will with DC on a mass appeal. Y'know, the "Big Tent" and all that.
