So the show has been renamed and given a new style ... again. Images from Toy Fair are all labelled Ben 10 Omniverse, and the style seems like a nice amalgam of what was the original style and the more recent Ultimate style.
The few new aliens that I have seen pics of look to be a bit more original in design and color schemes.
Anyone have any more information on the new series and when it launches with the new name?
Anyone have more info on upcoming toys?
Lets start the conversation here ...

I know a bit. At least what they told us at the booth. I might have to go back to our video we took to make sure I got all my facts right.
I THINK it starts back up again in the fall. They are excited about the re-design as it's the first refresh of the look of the show in 4 years.
Ben's a little older now. His other 2 sidekicks (the guy and the girl) have gone off to college so Ben is left alone... until he meets his new sidekick "Rook" and alien without any powers. Rook relies on tech and weaponry to help out.
I think they also said there would be a new main bad guy.
That's what I remember

hmm... so, no Gwen and Kevin. That's kinda a shame.
I've seen Rook's ship, which looks like a nice transforming Rustbucket from the original series, so I'm assuming that Rook is a plumber of some sort.
Can't wait to discover the new villain. I'm not to keen on the current state of Vilgax, and Agregor was nothing more than a vehicle to introduce new aliens ...
Thanks for the tip, Dan. Can't wait to see the galleries, video, and after thoughts you have for us ...

Im not too keen on the new look-- but I guess the Aliens will still fit with the old style--
However I really wish they would at least get us all he aliens they show in the Vinyl figures into the basic line..

Found at target yesterday- the basic figures- new wave--
Picked up Bloxx, Feedback and Rook at target last night-- 6.89 -- left the two bens (and it looks like the case pack was 12-- two of each alien- and 3 each of both bens)

After opening these- they just feel smaller than the last version of the figures-- the size gets lost in a group display- due to various alien sizes (and not seeing the new cartoon) not really sure of the scale- but they just seem small.
just as a heads up to those still collecting.

I have mixed emotions about he series starting over again. I was so kinda looking forward to the time that Ben becomes a fully grown adult and come to that point where he is BEN 10,000 and eventually evolving as Ultimate Ben (where he does not change in appearance but assumes the powers of aliens).
I have followed this series from it's infancy and I still could not believe how it has withstood the tests of time. Really a very successful cartoon series.

I think part of why it is so good at "standing the test of time" is that it is constantly updating and re-inventing itself.
Each new iteration changes things just enough to make it seem fresh without letting go of the initial concepts of why the show worked.
This is just the next step so to speak.
As for the toys.... I have seen the new Vinyl 10" figures of Graviton and (i forget the name) but not the new 4" figures.
Hopefully, it'll be any day now as my local Targets are in much need of some re-stocking.....

Well I just figured I would post it in this thread-
I just picked up the Ben/ Zombozo DVD 2 pack at Ross this weekend-- -- at 5.99 makes me feel a little better than paying the 13.00 to ship it here from the UK-- now if they would only get us the rest of his crew as figures--

Thanks for the head's up on the Zombozo pack, Stewbacca. I already got one from eBay, but I didn't have the Ultra Ben figure, and I wanted a couple spare Zombozos for potential customs. I grabbed a couple yesterday. They seem pretty plentiful at Ross, for people who are looking.
