I do not believe this will be the end of timmverse style toys. Maybe Mattel will go back to thier great TNBA batman line that they started in 03 or 04. Or start a brand new STAS line that could coincide with jlu as far as scale and get us figures like good old granny, desaad, jax ur, and mala and others. I mean for TNBA we still need hatter, clayface, ivy, baby doll, killer croc, calendar girl. And as far as BB they really could use a touch up on that. Only blight and happy tosses smirk. Also an innacurate jokerz leader. Im sure Mattel will revisit timmverse soon one way or another. I was pleased with the catwoman and penguin TNBA we got from Mattel. But if Mattel loses the DC liscense Im positive we will see this again. But the highest of chances if jlu starts re airing, more TNBA, more stas, and more BB.

Never say never but at this point the 6 packs coming this fall are the end.

Well I guess that means as long as Mattel has the DC liscense I should kiss my TNBA, BB, STAS and JLU gaps away from seeing production. Hopefully hasbro or DC direct gets te timmverse JLU license.

They wouldn't make any more either. Just wait about 20 years. Mattel will storm back with JLU Classics.

Eh i doubt that very seriously J1. They want out of this style of figure. For whatever reason. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I genuinely think Firefly and Dr Destiny are the last new figures we'll ever see from Mattel in this style. Unless someone picks up GL: TAS that is.

People would have said the same about MOTUC, Voltron and Ghostbusters haha. Just wait haha.

Seriously though it may never happen but don't tell me there won't be a market for it. Everyone who collects here now has BRED their children on Timmverse. in 20 years, they'll be adults possibly looking to buy toys and Mattel will swoop in with JLU style toys that they loved as children and we'll all be back!

Oh I definitely think there'd be a market for it. And I never would have thought MOTUC would do as well as it has. But yes, retro nostalgia is a powerful force. So I never say never, I'll just be shocked if it happenes.

Yeah that would be great If Hasbro got the license. We can get 3,700 batmen again. Honestly this ship has sailed and it is now up to fan based companies to pick up were Mattel left off. Look at all the crazy great stuff Transformers fans get from 3rd party companies. Now is the time for Stew & 37customs to bring us the rest of the shows characters.

Saying like tomorrow, or even within the next five years but did anyone predict that we would see more TNBA? From Mattel? So I think we will see it again. Sometime. Maybe in 5 years, maybe in 20 or maybe never again.

I'm not seeing it unless the GL:TAS series is a massive hit with kids or they redo Batman or JLU which is doubtful. You get collectors in 20 years by getting kids now and I do not see that with JLU or Timmverse for that matter. Marvel/Hasbro has won the battle for the kids and it shows on the pegs. I give away my doubles sometimes of these figures to my nephews and friend's kids and they could care less about them except Batman. They want star wars, gi joe, transformers and all the Marvel stuff cause that is what they see on TV/Movies.

Stew is already in high gear. He currently has no less than 7 unique characters available, along with 12 or 13 custom heads! How's THAT for results?
