Has anyone ever addressed what it is on those figures that makes them get that filmy build up?
I know we've talked about it on here, but I just wondered if we got a definate answer. I know you see some of that on the JLU figures too....but I don't get it on any other figures in the DCUC line.

It was a shoddy batch of plastic with inferior chemicals.
Simple as that. The white filmy stuff is simply a chemical reaction breakdown.
Nothing conspiratorial.
Happens to Rubbermaid storage boxes all the time but since they aren't "collectible" no one really cares or comments on it.

You are lucky.
I've got several JLU figures that have it.
Deathstroke and Green Lantern from DCUC wave 3 also have it as does Robin (from wave 4? Can't believe I forgot what wave he was in)
A few other figures here and there have it as well, but mostly because they have "caught it" from the offending figures.

Robin was also in wave 3...which may be the best wave of DCUC.

Robin Nightwing Green Lantern Deathstroke Sinestro Grundy I will say hands down it was my favorite wave. Not a figure in that wave I didn't like.

Hmm. My Wave 3 Deathstroke is still MOC and has that white on it. But I saw an All-Star Deathstroke for the first time yesterday at Kmart.
Is there anyone that has both of these Deathstrokes and can share any differences and improvements as far as plastic quaility , paint and joint mobility?
I'm just wondering if I should trade up on a better quality Deathstroke if it's better at all.
