Am I the only one this happens to? :/

When I was first going after Volcana for myself, I had to buy two because I
gave my word that I word buy it if they found one for me.
Two people found it at the same time and I felt I had to keep my word to them.
I sold the extra one to help someone else.

That's what got me started helping others find the hard to get ones.

All: I"ve had some inquiries about these, and I"m kinda surprised people still need them. I scanned the trade forum and didn't see any recent requests.

So I was thinking about putting them on ebay, but the thought of scalpers/resellers getting them sucks. Then I thought if anyone here won the auctions, I could sweeten the deal by including an extra goodie or 2.

My only concern is that I bought the extra sets on ebay, and I'd like to recoup at least half my money. Also, the Secret Society is loose and my son already made off with Banshee.

If anyone has any ideas on how to do this fair, I'm listening. What if there was some sort of guessing contest, and the top 2 contestants get to buy? Just throwing this out there....

They really aren't as expensive as they used to be. You can get most of them for $25-35 easily and I have seen the whole sets go for $125.00 but as high as $175.00. I sold mine loose for roughly $50 each a few years ago. I usually go the Ebay route as right now I'm getting rid of most of my loose figures in favor of MOC and 80's stuff. I just sold a loose Aquaman for $70. As much as I'd like to help people out that is $70 worth of stuff I can get if I go that route.

Weird isn't it? First thing I do when I hit the boards is check everyone's sig for new and exciting info, and then I go looking for the mundane stuff: new JLU 6packs, new 4Horsemen OSMen, etc.

I'll try to stay on top of things. :lol:
