I have this horrible habit of buying Construx whenever I see them... My wife was with me, and gave me that "do you really need more of those" look. She said I'd better build something with them, so I put together a lame wheeled space vehicle with a prop on the front of it. She left me alone about them after that...

@Chip, actually, out of the 3 I have carded (swimming and walking spidey and walkng Hulk), my walking spidey is in the best condition. Clear bubble, no creases, etc. But you should do well on that, I have seen them go anywhere from $30-75, depending on condition and obviously how many bidders were on it. Good luck! @Brlymnjr, they came out in 1988 I think, made by Worlds of Wonder. There's 12 of them, and they've really shot up in price recently. The first run was in harder plastic test tubes that were rounded at the bottom. The problem is, if you wanted to display them, you'd have to put them upside down (the tubes I mean) The ones I have came out the next year, they made the tubes squared off at the bottom and of a softer plastic *(the hard plastic ones were a major hazard to kids if they broke, into a bunch of hard plastic shards.). These guys are probably bigger than you imagine, the y are big and heavy, the tuns are like 5" or so (estimate) Here's a website/article on them: http://www.dorkdimension.com/2006/08/to ... onder.htmland another one http://bogleech.com/scrapbook/scrapgerms.html

Great score Chip! I never get lucky off Craigslist. Wish I lived near a larger city so I could see more variety on there. Anyway, Added another Madballs Headpopper to my collection (from a seller in England, which brings my total to 5) and these Termitors, the french equivalent of Army Ants. I have a bunch of spare weapons I got in an Army Ants lot, so I was able to hook about half of these guys up with their correct accessory/weapon:

I search a few times a day for vintage comics, Star Wars, action figures and Atari 2600 games. It sucks to always come up empty, so hopefully this pays off. Peace, Chip

Picked up a few things since the last time I posted. Got this Germ in the test tube (albeit the rounded one, without the lab report, the rest of my set is the softer, squared off tubes and all have lab reports) Now I just need the blue and pink "Giggle" to have the entire set: Got another Madballs headpopper, Wolfbreath. Now I just need Dust Brain and Oculous Orb to complete that collection:

Those Head Poppers are super cool...
I'm hoping to find some of those on one of my swap meet visits someday.

@Scar, yeah man, they're really cool. The thing that surprised me was how sturdy they are, how heavy and well made and how much articulation they have for a little figure from that era.
By the way, just saw a carded Cave Fisher on Ebay, it's got 1 bid, currently at $349.00. Pretty psyched I got mine for less than a third of that!!
