Eventful morning for me. Went to one TRU, found the entire second wave minus Fantomex. Awesome.

Went to a second TRU, found the entire second wave minus Fantomex. Infuriating.

And to make matters worse, I thought I had him, too. At that second TRU, I pulled out an all-white toy without even looking at it, and was elated to be done. Then I hear someone mention, "That guy got the last Spider-Man", looked in my hands, and it was Spider-Man in his dag-blasted Future Foundation suit. I let the other guy have him and went off to fume.

Could be worse, though. I saw a young guy and an older lady get into a honest-to-god shoving match/tug of war over the MLs. Made me glad I'd found them all at the previous TRU...I'm not violent enough to make it in this crowd.

Huh. I just realized Madame Viper and Piledriver come with the "Red Skull" BAF pieces.

No big deal, I wanted both of those characters anyway. But the OCD in me is a little bummed that I can't quite cross Arnim Zola off my list yet. :)

I can't figure out the retailer discrepancy with prices. 14.99 at target and 17.99 at TRU?

I only want the Steve Rogers and Captain America figure. I haven't found a Steve Rogers, and I've only seen Cap at TRU...I'm not paying 17.99. I figure at some point I'll find the ones I want on a routine trip to Target.

$15.44 at the Walmart I saw yesterday. Wave 1 figures only. Target is actually cheaper than Walmart!

You know that won't last.

You could always have the cashier price match Target in the mean time.
That makes me wonder, does TRU do price matches?

Only if it's in an ad.

Isn't Target the same way?

And it isn't worth the 45 cents I'd save, anyway.

[EXPLETIVE DELETED] Fantomex continues to elude me.

I'm tempted to make a joke about the French, but I fear it wouldn't be taken in the spirit in which it's intended.

Walmart doesn't require you to have an ad anymore, we are supposed to take the customer's word for it. (I'm a walmart cashier)

Target has been beating Walmart prices in a lot of things going back to 2011. They have better prices on Monster High stuff too.

That said, no ML Series 2 in my parts as of yesterday. I fully expect to see remnants on Monday.

I'm not going to worry with this new line. It seems to be selling real well and retail stores will probably order more and more. Hopefully I'm not wrong and we'll all be able to carry every figure in our hands. Unless scalpers buy up every set they put up. Then we'll definitely be screwed. I still haven't got my hands on these figures, I keep telling myself I'll go to the store, but am always busy with something else. Maybe tomorrow. HA! I'm dying to see what wave 3 looks like. More villains please!

I've been bit! By the radioactive spider called Marvel Legends. I couldn't resist buying the six figures in series 2 to make Armin Zola and Series 1 Extremis Iron Man.

Now I feel it necessary to go back and purchase a few figures from the tail end of the previous run. Is there a internet repository of everything that has been released from HAsbro and Toy Biz thus far?

Saw Bucky Cap and Drax today at a TRU. I left them there. I might have paid the upcharge for Wrecking Crew or the Madames, but i figure they'll be everywhere else soon enough.

So I have a question for you long time Legends collectors. I really, really, really, REALLY want the 2-pack Black Widow and a quick look at Ebay shows me it's going to be pricey. Does she use the same body mold that Madam Masque/Madame Hydra uses? I picked up Masque today and instantly fell in love with her. It would be great if Widow used that body too.

Thanks!
