I'm guessing "weird" because of its colors.

It's not uncommon in action figure production for factories to test the molds with whatever scrap plastic they have laying around. These aren't prototypes. They're test shots.

Which means, as whako alluded to, there's nothing weird about this.

What I thought was wierd about it was the colors, and since the character most likely was never featured on the show. I just wonder how many characters were developed like this one....

I also thought that they used every wasted sculpt. This is a good sculpt. When they said are you leaving out anything I thought they meant EVERYTHING not just firefly and doctor destiny. And yes he was in STAS, and JLU.

No one is understanding you ----because he was released as a figure-we all have him sitting in our collections- and was common and sat on the pegs as part of a 3 pack---he was never left out..

Are you sure you don't have him already? Maybe just not recognizing him in non-production colors?

Oh wait yes I do have him. He didn't look like he does in production colors. Well thanks. He was pushed away in a corner of my closet with other 3 packs....
