Wow, I bow to your search fu Master.
And yes, it's funny but that was the one that stuck out of the options. Now it's pretty much the standard the figure goes by lol....

Yes, just like "Disco" Brainiac. But I gotta give props to whoever first described this figure as "Chippendale's" Brainiac. Seems more accurate. It looks like he's wearing some futuristic sleeveless tuxedo.

Here's my Tracksuit Batman and Tracksuit Superman and Green Lantern too. Batman was to be part of Justice League Unlimited Series 6 in 2007, Asst# J2016, but was never released. I believe he is on the Card Backs though.

Yeah, Ham Salad gets all the credit for coming up with the name Tracksuit Batman. I remember thinking when he proposed the name that it really was the perfect term. He hit it out of the park. The costume certainly has that racing-stripe cheezy tracksuit/jogging suit look, and the word "Tracksuit" is pretty stand-out and a perfectly unique moniker for the figure.
To me, the nick-name Tracksuit Batman is the JLU's version of G.I.Joe's "Pimp Daddy Destro" (the leopard print Destro paint variation from the 1997 Cobra Command Team set, which was not supposed to be released, though some made it to retailers).

Hey BlackCanary, your post is really interesting and the first I've heard of the Tracksuit Batman being found loose at Mattel stores. Do you happen to remember where the info came from? Old posts here at AFI or other sites? I'd love to research & learn more about this.

I get your comment now. The picture does not show up for me when I look at Black Canary's post on page 1, but it must for you for some reason. It was on my PictureTrail account, but I dropped that a year or so ago, so it's gone.

Haha I was wondering if you'd catch that. I know sometimes people don't read an entire thread.

The posts about these being found loose at Mattel stores were on AFI. I remember that someone posted about finding them in the loose bin (I believe there was also a photo) at the Matty company store in California. ( I didn't know that Mattel even had company stores that were open to the public at the time). Then another user mentioned that they had found one at the Mattel company store in Texas (but that it was only open seasonally). I wish I had more information to give you but I'll keep looking.
