On that last one, sure Mattel has an MSRP, doesn't mean that TRU (or Target or Walmart) are going to stick to it. The "S" stands for "suggested" and they have full right to price with that or totally ignore it. At the end of the day, they aren't going to listen to what Mattel thinks the mark-up should be, they're going to do their own calculations and come up with their own numbers be they close to the MSRP or not.

The person who asked that question clearly stated they are aware that the retailers can set whatever price they want regardless of Mattel's MSRP. The question was is Mattel's MSRP higher for the BAF waves. Rather than give a "We do not disclose this information to the public" response (which is a dry but fair response), they chose to reiterate what the questioner already knows - That retailers have the choice of charging whatever they want regardless of MSRP.

I asked the same exact MSRP question about the WWE BAF line, and got this anwser on mattycollector.com
Mattel does not set retail pricing for any items other than the ones we sell ourselves directly to consumers (ie, here on Matty). That's why you see widely different prices for the same items across different retailers. However we can tell you that the price for Best of PPV Elite figures will be a little higher than regular Elite due to the inclusion of the Build-a-Figure.

It's probably a legal response they have to give. But that makes me ask, why answer the question at all? Just move on to one they can answer.

Nice to see ToyGuru would also throw support behind Granny Goodness if Mattel were to sculpt one last all-new figure

I'd like to thank AFi for asking my question about a possible bundle option for the last JLU packs to save on shipping. It got the brush-off, but I'm glad the idea was at least put forward. I hate being forced to buy figures on a monthly basis with no option to buy all at once.

I'm sure that it can't be done due to some sort of bogus Digital River and/or Mattel warehouse cost issues. Shipping for those packs is not cheap at nine bucks per pack times six. I'd much rather pay once and only once for the lot of six packs.

C'mon guys, once again (and I do know this isn't going to work for everyone) many of us are in close proximity to other members, why not combine orders? Ten items would probably be $15-$16 to ship and you guys still have 3-4 months before the first one goes up for sale to organize such things. I do bulk orders almost every month for myself and my friends and shipping is *never* more than $2 an item if you can get at least 8 items.

5. Should we read anything into the fact that we're getting Mirror Master and Poison Ivy in the first year of the sub-- and that Ivy and Mirror Master were teammates in the classic Injustice Gang along with Chronos the Time Thief, The Tattooed Man, Shadow Thief, Scarecrow, and Libra, or is it just a coincidence? Maybe yes, maybe no… My favorite question and answer of the month.
