DCUC wave 20 Nekron's weapon?

Where can I find a Scythe/Staff suitable for Nekron from DC Universe wave 20? Any recommendations? Or any alternatives?

and what is the story behind the missing weapon? Why Mattel never produce one? Too dangerous for kids?

I believe Mattel simply said that the cost was too much per figure, so this was removed.

The only thing close that I know of would be the one that came with the DC Direct Nekron.

Officially, it was left out due to cost. Scott has said several times that he is really disappointed it was left out and wants to find a way to eventually get it out to us collectors. Time will tell if he can make it happen in some form or another.

In terms of scale, the DC Direct is close, yes. But a tad bit small with the larger scale of the DCUC figure.

I know there was a Monty Python Grim Reaper figure several years back that is semi-easy to acquire via eBay ... might be an option there for you ...
