Let's get the ball rolling on this one. Coming out in May: Discuss.

While I want them all (naturally), my favs so far are: Tarzan, Bunny Suit, Valkyrie, Mayan, Bagpiper, and Hippie.
They are all awesome, but you just know you have to pick out a few to really spotlight in the collection.
May seems so far away ....

Nepture, Viking Chick, the Mayan/Aztec Warrior, and Black Knight guy are my favorites. I just wish Lego would can the blind packet motif. I hate ending up buying stuff I don't want.

But then we would start trashing lego for screwing up their assortments as well-- I mean who really knew people were actually going to buy 300 Spartans for dioramas... At least Neptune should be easy to identify..

Yeah, I can already start seeing what pieces I will be feeling for when I pick up the packs.
Monkey =tarzan Bunny Ears = Rabbit Suit Tennis Racket Guitar Mayan Fish Helmet Bagpipes MiniLegs = Red Riding Hood (it seems like there is one "shorty" in each wave at this point) Neptune = just about all of them...
Too bad the flowers are being used for both the Bride and the Hippy... at least the Bride should have the Slant Brick bottom to help her stand out I would think...
There really aren't many in there that are going to be excessively difficult to identify or mix up with a bit of effort.

Luckily I am on an expat assignment now, so yesterday at the John Lewis Store on Oxford Street in London. Even though I went there for the Olympic shop, I was thrilled to find a LEGO section and a front and center display of minifigures Series 7!
I was so happy, and unlike all the other LEGO items, the minifigures are the only LEGOs that are comparable to the US price (GBP 1.95).
I have 100% feel accuracy, so was able to get the 5 I wanted - Bunny guy in time for Easter, King Merman, Frantic Tennis Player, and two I saw and loved - Sweater Vest guy (I just love 'normals' ) and maybe my favorite - the Bagpipe player. The kilt on the Bagpipe player is a little awkard, but otherwise, these are all great!
Easy feel tips if you use that technique: Bunny guy - the ears are easy to find. carrot is good confirmation Merman - the tail is very distinct Tennis Guy - find one with spiky hair and confirm the racket Sweater Vest guy - the mug is easy to feel, so is the laptop Bagpipe guy - the hat with the ball knob on top is the easiest way to find him
I am sure you'll love this set!

Lego Store recently opened in my area and they are having a whole slew of fun in the first few weeks. As soon as we walked in, they started telling us about the upcoming Series 7 minifigures that they will have on hand May 1st. Guess where I'm going to be?

Lego Stores are awesome. Everyone should have one close to them.
It's about the only place I have a "store card" for this days.
And with Mattel's DC lines going bellyup, Lego's going to be getting a lot more of my money this year.

Yeah, my son just LOVED it there.
He got signed up for the VIP program, Club Lego, and got invitations back for events in the store throughout May.
He went down the wall collecting every single individual piece they had available.
He made a set of Minifigs.
He discovered the new interactive camera that will animate in 3D select box art for Lego specialty sets.
And, over an hour later, when it was time to leave, I literally had to drag him out of the store because there was still "so much more to try and take home but we're coming back right? right? Right? RIGHT?!? WHEN ARE WE COMING BACK?????"
Awesome sauce.

My local TRU got in series 7 this weekend and I picked up an Aztec Warrior, Bride (mistakenly thought it would be the female viking) and guitarist.

Wish we had a Lego store here. I'm hoping for the Galaxy Patrol guy, the Aztec Warrior and the Ocean King from this wave.
BTW, I also wish we had a "like" button for bnjmnrlyr's post just above....

The Toys R Us near me got these a couple days ago!
The case they had included everyone except the Galaxy Patrol and Aztec Warrior (the two I wanted most! LOL!)
