Wow, very nice detail work on that chair! It seems like I bought that sub 5 years ago but now I'm excited again for the figures to start shipping. Thanks for the great pictures Daniel!

No, I care. And I am excited to FINALLY be getting a Metron with Mobius Chair. Especially one that looks that nice.
But with everything else going on with Mattel lately, and in my life in particular, its just kinda getting lost in the shuffle.
Once it actually starts to ship in, what, June now?, I'll really be foaming at the mouth for it.

It looks incredible, and there really should be no complaints about it.
But I'm just waiting for the inevitable, "Oh, Mattel cheaped out and didn't make the chair light up. They don't know what the f they're doing."

Oh, you KNOW that'll happen. Probably within the first 2 pages of whatever thread the discussion winds up in. It does seem like a LONG time since I paid money for this sub. When all is said and done, we're looking at almost 10 MONTHS since we first heard about it.

Updated the thread name to include Flash. I should have Atrocitus up soon as well.
And then Stinkor, Thunder-Punch He-Man, Draego-Man, The Rookie...

I am soooooo happy we have this sub, with the sad news that is DC at retail, I hope we can see this sub go for a few more years.

Confirmed to be out of scale? As the initial thread suggested?

Which still doesn't seem as bad as the lengthy time between the initial unveiling of the Legion of Superheroes 12 pack and its eventual release after several delays. Wasn't it first revealed in their 2010 SDCC presentation, set for release by November 2010 in time for Christmas? Then it got pushed back to Spring 2011... and then summer 2011.... and then finally December 2011. So I think that's roughly 17 months we waited for it after getting our first glimpse.

Both beautiful looking figures and the chair is absolutely amazing.
I'll let a couple of problems I have with Jay go, but I'm very curious about the seam on his helmet, Julius. Is it really that noticeable under ordinary lighting?

I don't even care if Jay is too tall. That's an AMAZING figure.

abuddah wrote: Confirmed to be out of scale? As the initial thread suggested? To be fair that is the very first Flash figure. The more recent All-Star version is bigger and bulkier. I just haven't opened one of those yet.

Jay is way too tall. Getting a bonfire ready now so I can put all my DCUCs in it. Meh, I'll live.
