Jim_Abell wrote: I apologize if this has been mentioned before, I only get a few choice characters from this line so I don't follow this thread very closely. Stopped at the local Dollar General Market tonight and saw what (to me, anyway) appeared to be a new "budget" MU line. The card style was the same but about 2/3 the size of the normal line. There were three figures, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain Amercia w/ shield (the only one with an accessory). Each figure was in 4" scale, but they only have 5 POA (probably the same molds as the vehicle drivers) and run $6 each (at DGM anyway). Yes, those are in fact the non articulated vehicle drivers. I don't recall it being talked about it this thread, but the topic came up about a month ago on another forum I visit.

I would politely like to request Cal to stop collecting MU, Joe, Legends-- and from starting that SW collection... Since apparently you did something to make the Toy Gods angry On second thought go ahead and start Star Wars-- I need to save some money.. Sorry had to be said..

This lull is driving me nuts a lot more than in years past. The YJ news was the veritable icing on the cake. I need some good toy-etic news in the worse way. Come on SDCC reveals!!

So have copious amounts of MU figs been lost in transit from China or what? Has Hasbro said anything about this famine?

You really shouldn't be eating the MU figs, even if they don't have lead in them. It is a bummer that the stores are flooded with half-assed Avengers stuff, but I hope MU weathers the storm and comes back full force later in the year. We've got some good stuff coming up. And I have read about people finding the most recent 2-packs (Mr. Sinister, Adam Warlock) at Target, so there is that to looked forward to finding.

I don't see why this is a surprise. Hasbro does this all the time when a movie is about to come out. They did it with each Transformer movie. Their focus is and should be on Avengers right now. That is the money maker with the movie coming out. Patience, you'll get your figures.

CCC. Wow, congrats LordMudd. This is a fantastic price even if anyone doesn't collect MU.

My Walmart is getting so bad, I had to take a picture of it. This is the entirety of their action figure section and it *ALWAYS* looks like this. Zero Marvel Universe, not even empty pegs. It takes up less than 1/4 of an aisle.

That is no surpise. They are gearing up for 4 big comic book films in the next 4 months Avengers, Batman, Gi Joe and Spiderman. That is going to require alot of space.

Which is the opposite of mine locally-- there are multiple walmarts with full pegs- to the point they are spilling onto the shelf underneath-- a bunch of the refresh cases.. probably at least 3 if not more per store.. (the one with Havok and Cable..)...

They already have the Avengers figures out, it's about 4 pegs at the far end, as well as G.I. Joe. No Batman or Spider-man that I remember though. Doesn't really matter though, the rest of that side of the aisle is stuffed full of Lego, there's really no room to expand.
