Following the first word of the project yesterday, Variety reports that Universal Pictures has snagged the rights to Agent 13, a sci-fi action film that will star Charlize Theron and will be directed by Rise of the Planet of the Apes helmer Rupert Wyatt.
No plot details are currently available for 13, but the pitch is said to be a hot commodity and arrives from screenwriting newcomer T.S. Nowlin.
SFX has a first look at Catwoman and Wonder Woman in Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games' LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and PC.

After a four-week reign by The Hunger Games at the domestic box office, two movies were able to pass up the blockbuster this weekend. First place belonged to Screen Gems' Think Like a Man, which earned $33 million from 2,015 theaters for a strong average of $16,337 per location. Made for just $12 million, the film received an impressive A CinemaScore. Directed by Tim Story, Think Like a Man stars Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence J, Jenifer Lewis, Romany Malco, Gary Owen and Gabrielle Union.
At the international box office, Universal Pictures' Battleship continued its strong showing, adding another $58.4 million for a total of $129 million. Director Peter Berg's adaptation of Hasbro's classic naval combat game, starring Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna, Asano Tadanobu and Liam Neeson, doesn't hit North American theaters until May 18.
Back to the domestic results, Warner Bros.' Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Lucky One took a strong $22.8 million in second place from 3,155 theaters. Averaging $7,228 per site, the Scott Hicks-directed romantic drama received a B+ CinemaScore and stars Zac Efron, Taylor Schilling, Jay R. Ferguson, Riley Thomas Stewart, Adam Lefevre and Blythe Danner.
Dropping to third place, Lionsgate's The Hunger Games still added another $14.5 million its fifth weekend to bring its domestic total to $356.9 million. Made for $78 million and based on Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel, the movie has now climbed to the 19th spot on the all-time domestic box office list and will pass up Jurassic Park shortly for the 18th spot. Internationally, the film earned $13 million this weekend to push its overseas total to $215.8 million and worldwide total to $572.7 million.
Debuting at No. 4 was Disneynature's Chimpanzee with $10.2 million from 1,563 theaters. The documentary was directed by Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield.
Twentieth Century Fox's The Three Stooges rounded out the top five with $9.2 million. The Farrelly brothers comedy was produced for $30 million and has collected $29.4 million after two weeks. Following closely in sixth was Lionsgate's The Cabin in the Woods with $7.8 million and $26.98 million after two weeks.
Seventh and eighth place belonged to American Reunion and Titanic in 3D which earned $5.2 million and $5 million, respectively. The former has collected $48.3 million domestically compared to the latter film's $52.8 million.
IMAX Corporation and Lionsgate today announced that due to overwhelming demand, The Hunger Games will return to more than 100 IMAX® digital theatres across North America on April 27. The film will play for a one-week special return engagement through May 3.
The Hunger Games has grossed over $533 million globally since its launch on March 23, including $13.2 million generated from IMAX theatres in its original one week run.
"It's wonderful that so many fans have expressed interest in seeing 'The Hunger Games' in the immersive IMAX format, and many of these are repeat viewers," said Lionsgate's Motion Picture Group Co-Chair Rob Friedman, adding "We're delighted that IMAX has been able to accommodate them through this special one week re-engagement."

Jaden Smith is being eyed to lead an adaptation of the upcoming novel Boy Nobody, Variety reports. Written by Allen Zadoff, the first book is planned to launch a literary trilogy and will hit shelves in the spring of 2013.
Described by Publisher's Weekly as being about, "...a brainwashed teenage assassin who starts to regain his emotions,"Boy Nobody's leading character is, "a young soldier trained not to feel; who could function in every situation without fear, sympathy or anger; who could assassinate strangers and then walk away emotionally unscathed.”

Smith can next be seen on the big screen opposite his father in M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth, hitting theaters on June 7, 2013.
A Chinese spot for director Tim Burton's Dark Shadows has been released. Opening in theaters and IMAX on May 11, the big screen adaptation stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Eva Green, Chloë Grace Moretz, Bella Heathcote and Gully McGrath.
Paramount Pictures and New Regency Productions jointly announced today that Academy Award®-winner Russell Crowe has been cast as Noah in Academy Award®-nominated director Darren Aronofsky's feature film of the same name. Paramount will release the film on March 28, 2014.
Said Aronofsky, "I'd like to thank Paramount and Regency for backing my team's work to breathe new life into the biblical epic. I rejoice that Russell Crowe will be by my side on this adventure. It's his immense talent that helps me to sleep at night. I look forward to being wowed by him every day."
Noah is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah's Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (Gladiator, Hugo).
Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (Black Swan), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (Inception, Argo).
The movie will begin shooting this July in Iceland and New York.

When the first image from Gore Verbinski's upcoming The Lone Ranger came online earlier this year, there was much discussion about Johnny Depp's unique visual approach to the character of Tonto. EW caught up with Depp and learned that the bird-on-head design was inspired by "I Am Crow", a painting by artist Kirby Sattler.
"[I] looked at the face of this warrior and thought: That’s it," Depp told the outlet. "The stripes down the face and across the eyes … There’s this very wise quarter, a very tortured and hurt section, an angry and rageful section, and a very understanding and unique side. I saw these parts, almost like dissecting a brain, these slivers of the individual."
Although the original piece of art (which you can check out by clicking here) had the bird merely flying behind the subject's head, Depp appreciated the look and made some alterations.
“I thought: Tonto’s got a bird on his head," the actor continued. "It’s his spirit guide in a way. It’s dead to others, but it’s not dead to him. It’s very much alive.”
According to Depp, his interpretation of Tonto will go even further against the grain of what fans of the character might expect.
“The whole reason I wanted to play Tonto is to try to [mess] around with the stereotype of the American Indian that has been laid out through history," he said. "...especially Tonto as the sidekick, The Lone Ranger’s assistant. As you’ll see, it’s most definitely not that.”
Also starring Armie Hammer, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter, the big screen adaptation will be released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 31, 2013.
After wowing audiences with the IMAX portions of The Dark Knight in 2008, Christopher Nolan is back behind the 65mm lens for July 20th's The Dark Knight Rises which, The Wall Street Journal today revealed, will include over an hour of IMAX footage, making it the biggest use of the format in a Hollywood film.
Nolan, who spoke about IMAX at length in an interview last week, isn't the only director keen on the format. Last year's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol also included scenes designed specifically for IMAX viewing while quite a few entries this summer have been designed to be shown in IMAX theaters even without having shot on 65mm. Last week it was announced that The Hunger Games will return for a week-long IMAX run before theaters switch over to the next major release, Marvel's The Avengers.
Starring Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman, The Dark Knight Rises features a script by both Nolan and his brother, Jonathan Nolan.
