I laughed and I cried and here's why. I went to a local walmart today to look the ML Thor and I finally found him. I was pretty excited until upon closer inspection I notice that Thor had some extra detail from what I remember in online photos. The packaging was a little weird too. Someone decided to buy ML Thor and return it with MS Thor resealed back in the package. So what I'm really trying to say is that I'm still looking for ML Thor.

BoDad that SUX...
I just saw and left a series 1 Thor about 45 min ago. sorry (i will keep eyes out for him again)
My tale.............. I went into a Wal Mart that i have been avoiding going to (it"s always so busy and hasnt had anything in Months!!) and what do I find????
Series 2.......yep at Wal Mart........ What they Had: 2 Caps, 1 unmasked Daken, 1 fantomex, 1 Viper, 1 Piledriver, 1 Drax, 1 series 1 Thor and Constrictor. So.......I am oh so close to wave completion.....i picked up Viper, Piledriver, Drax and daken(whom may be returned when i hopefully find the masked version). No Spidey of either version that I could locate....still need the Big Time version.
the second walmart i hit....yes Shellhead...i went there....lol.....had......Jack and $#!t....not even peg space.
so now wal marts are in the game....plan on hitting 2 and a target tomorrow.
happy hunting ya'll

I found Piledriver and FF Spider-man at my Walmart today.
Still can't build my Zola because I'm missing the $#&@ing chest piece that comes with Masque. Not to mention Thunderball and Daken (holding out for the masked version).
Big Time Spidey will be a "if it looks cool enough in person" buy.

So they bought a 20.00 THor to reseal in a 15.00 package (I guess maybe the wanted the Diorama piece)--- reminds me of that SNL sketch where they order at the drive thru- pay for it and drive off before they get their food..- Yeah I know he could have gotten it second hand or just had an extra sitting around-- but it still doesnt make sense.

Yea 2 waves, in Jan/Feb/March. If wave 3 won't even be announced until SDCC, you won't see it in stores until August or September. Doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

I got Thunderball and Madame Masque via trade yesterday. So I'm done until August/September I guess...

Got Madame Masque and Thunderball at TRU yesterday. The pricetag was mislabeled so I got them $3 cheaper than the $20 TRU was asking for. Now I just need a Masked Daken and I'm done. Has anybody actually stumbled across one of those yet?

Has anyone even actually even seen a Masked Dark Wolvie figure at any store-- (even ebay seems pretty barren-- and the couple I see- I think they got them from sealed Cases from some retailer or something-- its possible since most of the listings are using stock photos..
I now have seen multiples of every other figure but Piledriver and the neon spidey

Has anyone seen a restock in the past two weeks? I have seen nothing in NYC/NJ. I'm still hunting for the variants! I thought as we got closer to The Avengers movie I would see a restock, but not so far.

A retailer friend told me this week that series 1 has sold through, and is not available for reordering. In fact, he never got his full order, and the remaining cases on his order have been cancelled. There are most likely done cases still "in the pipeline", but these will dry up very soon, if they haven't already. Series 2 is still available to order, but he never got his full order of those either, so we shall see.

We're still a long way off from wave 3 and if retailers can only order wave 2, then they're going to have peg warmers or they won't order at all and leave empty pegs for months.

So you're saying a fast sell out is bad? I think that's a GOOD thing. That shows great demand, and therefore a higher chance of further waves being ordered. Now if I could just find a masked Daken, I could put Wave 2 to bed.

That means that for almost 8 months of the year they will have to choose between ordering wave 2 or having nothing at all.

Long time looker, first-time buyer. I've decided it's time to supplement my DCUC collection with some Marvel characters, and I really like the look of the current Marvel Legends - much cleaner than when the line first started at Toy Biz oh those years ago.
I'm working on building Arnim Zola, if anyone has any extra pieces (already have the ones from Bucky Cap and Fantomex). And I'm looking for a Steve Rogers as well. I saw on BBTS that they're doing a refresher case with a mix of waves 1 and 2 - you guys think there's any chance they'll do another one with Steve, Thor, Iron Man, etc.?
