Eh I dunno I think the Four Horsemen did a great job on the MOTUC figure. And it's fun to see the old concept figures come to live. The only thing I really want is the Tiny Titans set, so I hope it's on Matty after SDCC because my daughter would LOVE that. And I have to admit I want one too.

With the new Watchmen comics coming out, how hard would it have been to take a standard DC Universe buck and produce a Dr. Manhattan figure, maybe even with translucent variant, to kick off a new Watchmen line? They made a Swamp Thing almost right away, absurdly out of scale as he was, but a Dr. Manhattan figure would take almost 0% new tooling. Come on. Who the heck is Death, and why does she look like an anime DC Direct figure? Such a fail.

Ugh.
What a disaster. Death looks like a Barbie.

Very disappointed. First DCUC at retail gets cancelled. Then DC All-Stars gets cancelled before it's even out of the gate. Now no SDCC DCUC exclusive? I was really hoping for a good DCUC exclusive this year. I'm glad I bought a sub to be able to at least get a few more figures for my collection. I hope the new "compatible" retail line next year is a 4H sculpted, 6" DCUC line with a new name. If not, then I'm out.

Dr. Manhattan is not a DCU character so it would have been a waste.

Disappointment with exclusives just means money saved. I'm certainly NOT upset. But, yes, this is a pretty lackluster group of exclusives.
There's mention of a Dark Knight Rises figure on the main announcement page, but nothing on the items page itself. Weird.

How is Swamp Thing not a DCUC character?

I'm not terribly excited about these reveals either. I'm up for the MOTUC character (still don't think this means "jumping the shark") since he fits in the lore nicely. Definitely getting Dana, likely the last GB figure, and maaaaaybe the Tiny Titans one. If Death is not in scale with DCUC, I'm definitely skipping her. I wish there was a more interesting DC figure in the mix. Granny Goodness would have been nice.

Wow that Tiny Titans set does a fantastic job of translating a very 2-D style into 3-D. It's very well done! Also cool to see something that is really strictly a toy adaption from a comic. I'm not sure Mattel has ever done something so style/artist specific based on comics.

I'm passing on all of them, unless Death's 8 inch size is a misprint.
And even then, I'm kinda iffy on her.

I might pick up the Death if I can. I actually like it for my random standalone female figures of varying sizes collection.
