The impact of no JLU or DCUC has left if final mark on the SDCC. So sad.

And even then, I'm kinda iffy on her. Unfortunately, that is not a misprint. Death is an 8 inch STACTION, not really an action figure per se. According to ToyGuru, they are testing the waters for a potential new DC Staction line (Is this the new collector themed retail line?) Here's Scott's quote: ToyGuru wrote: She is the start of a whole new look of 8" DC Stactions. We are trying it out with one figure Death to see what fans think. This is not intended to replace 6". 6" will continue strong on Mattycollector.com with Flash 1 on sale in two weeks! It is just a fun new way to collect the DC Universe. It won't be for every fan, but for those into this look/interpretation - jackpot!

WOW... I'm sooooo happy/sad about this. Saving money - Happy. Lack of excitement for Comic-Con - Sad. So... these have been in the works for a while, right? So the LACK of a DCUC exclusive was known for a while? These are going to fill up the Mattel Toy Shop for years to come.

AAAAAAAND another thing...
If it's the 30th anniversary of the action figure line that DEFINED Mattel for a decade.
Why aren't the Polly Pocket figures Teela, Evil Lyn, and Sorceress? Just saying.

and for the second year in a row, I don't give a crap about Mattel's SDCC offerings. I wonder what Hasbro will be bringing?

I like Vykron. Def getting it.
I hear some people complaining, but IMO Vykron fits exactly what a SDCC exclusive should be. He's not a figure that should have or would have been placed in the regular line. Fairweather collectors won't be stomping their feet at missing him, and he'll be a cool novelty to have for those that are truly interested.

My Daughter's main question is: Are the Polly pockets going to be articulated like the Supergirl set, or are they just little non-articulated figurines like on the picture? I find it pretty funny that my 7 year old is more interested in the SDCC exclusives than I am. Hopefully the Polly pocket and Tiny titans will be offered on Matty after the con.

Well last year I only got Superboy. This year I might get the Tiny Titans (aww yeah Titans!) There is a lot of money I want to spend I have nothing to spend it on, pertaining to action figures as of late.
And that Dana figure is pretty sexy.
