It's not like you still walk down to TRU and buy it though... Unless they re-release the Batpod under the Dark Knight Rises banner. Which with it's use in the film I guess seems likely but I don't believe the CnC is something as big as a Batmobile or a Batwing-thingy...

The Dark Knight still made alot of money for Mattel and retailers despite TRU overordering after Christmas 2008 and the TDKR will too. I do agree that certain DC-Based Properties (Think Green Lantern) have done horribly.

I think odds are pretty high its the Batwing or Batsignal. I am hoping for a rooftop Batsignal diorama but I do think its more likely the Batwing.....

Surprised nobody else has posted about this yet... and in fact I had trouble just finding a TDKR thread buried in this forum.
The first wave of TDKR Movie Masters figures is out. Found Batman, Bane, and Alfred at a Walmart in Oklahoma yesterday. Each includes the first 3 of 6 pieces to build the bat signal. Alfred looks really nice... good likeness of him. Only real disappointment to me is that NONE of them comes with any accessories. You'd think at least Batman would have a batarang or something.
Surprised these hit retail before the online shops.

Yeah, it is about that time for leaks - these are not supposed to be on the shelf until 5/27/2012, but usually they show up a few weeks early in some stores who put them out before they are supposed to.

Didn't Toyguru show a C&C light up bat signal at Toy Fair? I would imagine it would be for the 6" line.

Yes, the light up bat signal is the C&C for the Movie Masters line. I already have the first 3 pieces from Batman, Bane, and Alfred.

I wish my stores would break the rules and put them out. All my stores had Green Lantern Movie toy boxes in the back room marked "May 1" last year and nothing came out until May 15. The movie was June 6 or something like that.
Two days ago I saw Batman and Bane on Figure Of The Day and when they sold out, they offered Batman and Alfred. I can't remember the price , I think it was $39.99 for 2 figures. But I assume these will eventually be easy to buy in stores.

I have no interest in the figures but I just GOTTA HAVE the Bat Signal.
So, when I have the figures in hand I'll post them up for trade.
Unless someone wants to keep their figures and offer me their batsignal first.
Either way, I'm going hunting this week.
