Let me rephrase that: I hate it when people, who don't work, and have the rest of the day, come into the office at 4:55.


I realize our office hours are 9-5. Don't show up at 4:55 with 30 minutes of work you need done.


I realize that some people can't get here before then due to their jobs. I can handle that. But people who can, and choose to wait till right before closing, I happen to think that's really rude.

Yeah, it could go there too. I was just venting.

But what if they came in at 4:59?

That kind of stuff happens all the time in the restaurant industry.

Customer: What time do you close?
Waiter: We close at 11 ... in one minute.
Customer: Ok... I have a party of 35...


Yeah. Lots of fun.

Man I refuse to ever do that. Not only is it unfair to the restaurant and their staff, but I don't want to do anything to pleeple off someone handling my food.

I tell them I have to get my kids from daycare and they'll have to come back tomorrow or call after hours service.

Oh I remember those days. Spitting in the salads, taking the steaks and tossing them on the kitchen floor before cooking them. Fun times...

Same here. When I go into stores or places, I take into account that people have lives and families to get to and that I can always come back another day. It's always good to plan ahead and take into account other people. I don't want a guy spitting into my food or delaying work they have to do after a place closes down.
