1) With the cancellation and restructuring of DCU Allstars, what will become of the two-packs, such as Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan vs Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner? Have they also been cancelled, or are they still being released as planned?

A)There are no current plans for the 2-packs, but we will always continue to explore ways of producing the most compelling collector offerings. Thank you.

So it sounds like the Hal/Kyle and Red Azbats/ Battle Damage Batman packs are in limbo along with Super Powers Penguin (although one answer from the previous round of AskMatty sounds like they found a place for Super Powers Penguin after all. Of course another Ask Matty said they were still looking for a place for him).

Then again, the way the question was answered it doesn't sound like they were addressing those 2 particular two-packs but the whole two-pack SKU in general.

So TRU didn't end up with them like we were told? Wasn't the story that they were sent to TRUs and it was on them to put them out or something like that?

It sounds like the Batman Legacy line was only put on hold, not cancelled, while the Batman retail team focused on The Dark Knight Rises. Once TDKR is over, Batman Legacy should return (but it may not be exactly like the previous Batman Legacy waves).

A1. Yes, there will be 3 oversized figures as part of the CIE subscription on 2012 that could potentially be of any larger size but that will be based on tooling as well. There will not be any 100% tool’d figures in 2012 due to the low sub sell in rate.

Is this some sort of bad grammar riddle?

Yeah, my son would get something like that for homework and just red marker correct that thing all over the place.

But its nothing new for a Matty QnA

"Matty" doesn't always tell the truth. The trick is to try to figure out what is a lie, what is a half-truth, what is simply corporate-BS-type-talk, and what might actually be a fact.

You need to get Edward Nigma on the case, this seems to be right up his alley.

No, he needs to stop being paranoid.

What's annoying me in all of this is -- I want to know the status of ORANGE LANTERN LARFLEEZE, if the DC All-Stars line has been cancelled or put on hiatus or what the heck ever.

Maybe in 2013 but I don't expect that to happen this year. If I'm giving my guess though, I think 2013 retail is where he'll show up.
