I ordered both of the exclusive Amazon packs this morning. I was so happy they weren't sold out.

I stuck with the Renegades pack for now.
The Retaliation one tempted me, cause lord knows I'm ready to start collecting those toys, but I'm still not sure which versions of Roadblock/SE/SS I want. And I know I want a movie-accurate CC.

I got Footloose last week. I like him. Makes me sad I missed Claymore in the con set last year.
I may get the Renegades set since I don't have the single pack. the body construction reminds me of smaller Sigma 6 figures.

Got my Amazon Renegades set today, and while I still think it's overpriced, I'm overall satisfied. Duke and Snake Eyes look more like the show than their retail releases. Storm Shadow does not, but he is awesome-looking regardless. As does the Ninja Viper, my army of one.

went to wal mart really quick while my wife was shopping for shoes for the kids at Wss. Found a Cobra Commander. yay. Its all black, is that the actual color of all of them, or is that a wal mart exclusive idk. also stopped by the local target and found a cobra trooper. looks like collectors are really clearing the stores out of these figures, both stores were already picked over.

Okay- so this whole Joe con non attending thing is a big freaking joke... Delay after delay after delay-- and then they finally make it live at 8:30 at night--- and already sold out... what a crock.. So pretty much at this point I paid 45.00 for Footloose-- Had my credit card account stolen- an 8 month delay on the "supposed" fan club figures-- and no Oktober Guard... yeah the fan club is really worth it. Oh I forgot I do get my 6 page magazine every month with horribly written comics...

WHAT?
Cripes almighty. I was debating that price tag, but I didn't expect the friggin thing to sell out within hours of being posted. Botcon never sells out that fast.

Hasbro just seems to be dropping the ball all over the place this year.

Shellhead wrote: Hasbro just seems to be dropping the ball all over the place this year. To be fair-- the fan club isnt Hasbro-- they are a seperate entity.. This was all their fault for underordering that set-- Comparisons to their older sets are pointless- because the other sets were usually all repaints as some kind of special task force - or Vintage O-ring Bodies- Not 7 old school characters done in the new Style-- Not only did they loose out on a lot of extra cash, but pissed off a lot of fan club members. I am a first time member- and I signed up just to order the Fan Club subscription figure set-- which at this rate looks delayed until next years fan club -- its just pleeple poor running of what should be an easy to sell situation.. . I have a feeling I wont be signing up again next year, and its just me being snarky-- but dont end the email announcing - that the non attendee figures are sold out- with a Happy little See Ya in NO. There was no apologetic tone in that email at all-- it was like the Matty PR department wrote it. Im angry at the fact that they kept sending out emails in the middle of the day that the non attendees sign up would be coming in the next few days- and just spring it on you at 8:30 in the night-- after their offices close.. that is a horrible decision-- Now of course next year- they will do some lame ass tiger force repaint set or something-- and then make 3000 or more sets- and then blame members for not purchasing..

I got my Amazon exclusive Renegades 4-pack in today and if I'm not mistaken Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Ninja Viper all use a new body. I don't have my container of previous Renegades figures here with me but I don't remember Snake Eyes and Stormy being so articulated.

Not sure if either is exclusive to any particular store. Saw the black one at Target today and the blue one at KMart.
