Hey guys, I was messing around on ebay and found this listing for a movie masters Bane prototype. As you can see this one is definitely different than the one that has been released. Instead of having the armor and jacket this version is shirtless and has a different torso, arms, and and open left hand instead of the closed one on the current version. Could this be a MM variant that has yet to be released or is this part of the SDCC Dark Knight MM exclusive Mattel has told us about?

I saw this last night. My money is that it's the SDCC exclusive.

Could it be an early proto? It has more of the GL MM design with the arms. Maybe they were going to make him like that first and changed it?

Lazarus pit Bane? With lights and sound? That would make sense. And thta's not a spoiler, since we really doesn't know if it will even be in the movie. But if it is, waitting for the release of the movie to show it would make sense.

What a scrawny looking Bane. How is this guy really that much of a threat to Batman? I guess we'll find out in the movie....

I have enjoyed most the MM Batman figs, but that shirtless bane is just weak looking, he looks great with the coat, so dont need that half naked one lol

Well I guess that answers that. First we've heard of 2 packs. I wonder if there will be more?

Got one today in SoCal. They had one left at the Valencia TRU. Bane comes with two alternate hands. So they can either both be open, or both fists! PLEASE do this for EVERYTHING MATTEL!!!!

I wonder if the bare arms could be swapped onto the Bane-in-jacket?
I'm sure we'll get a release from Matty like that at some point, but that's the only other variation I'd be personally interested in. Something about this shirtless version seems a bit bland. (Then again, if it's movie-accurate I might be tempted down the road)

Bane's chest is a little on the smooth and clean looking. He should be scares, hair, tattoos, something to give the figure more detail.

His back has scars all along the spinal column. Like something is grafted to it underneath the skin. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow.

Is it just me or does that Bane look a bit flabby? I mean it would be great if I wanted to do a custom of myself with my shirt off (a new head would be needed ofcourse). The smooth abdomen with no muscle definition, small pecs, and relatively small biceps don't really say "man who broke the bat". Where's the Bane jacked on Venom (or steroids called "Venom")?
