The wink is throwing me a bit. You do hope so, or you don't? Because, whoever Mattel hired for that did terrible artwork for Jay and Atrocitus.

Sorry if that didn't come across. I blame the emoticons. I really do like the artwork. I thought the details in the picture of Jay were amazing, like the laces on his boots, the way his shirt bunches at the waist and his sly, devil-may-care grin. I realize most collectors don't care much for the packaging, but it fascinates me, especially the differences made for the mass market and the collector's market.

I thought Jay and Atrocitus were cool... I'm loving Mirror Master... he has to be the best by far!

I like how the DC Direct Mirror Masters seem to be from "flawed" mirrors in comparison.
Back to being excited for the sub figures after my Jay ordeal ....

Great pictures Van. What a great figure! Bring on the rest of the Rogues.
Did your Mirror Master come with the mirror guns? I thought most stuff from China didn't have accessories.

I thought most stuff from China didn't have accessories. I keep getting asked this on a lot of forums. He has two Mirror Master DCD guns, I can't believe they work that well with him. I was lucky I got the two holsters. I've seen him on eBay either with one or with none. And I don't have any of the gunk on his shoulders that someone else got when they got theirs. As for accessories, sometimes you luck out and you can get some with the figures, just depends on the dealer.

Patience just isn't one of your virtues, is it Van? You have half the sub already!

I've got two subs, and I'm glad I do - this figure looks awesome! I need to figure out how to come up with an alternate headsculpt so I can have one be Sam Scudder and the other be Evan McCulloch.

Just got him yesterday, and he's hands down the best figure from the sub thus far. He looks like he could have come from off the pegs with four accessories (six if you count the removable holsters). The guns fit securely in both hands, although it's tough to pack them into the holsters with the closed ends on them. Take the ends off and the holsters can snap shut just fine. He's a big step up from Starman, that's for sure. If we can get more like this, with some new tooling and a few vital accessories per figure, I will have no complaints about the lack of fully tooled figures. So, thus far: Mirror Master: A Jay Garrick: A- Rocket Red: B- Starman: C I didn't get Artocitus due to CC issues.

I too was impressed with this figure. With the exception of Atrocitus, I've enjoyed all of the offerings so far and would probably give all of them A's myself. I actually love the simplicity of this figure though. It just makes him pop for me. Looking forward to putting him in with the rest of the baddies once I set things up.

I've always found Mirror Master's holsters to be a tad to big but other than that I have always loved this figure.
