I wonder if we will see props on Matty.com? And if they have the ability to license out to Sideshow or Hot Toys for a sixth scale Batman and Robin?

The license for high-end 12" figures (Hot Toys specifically) is probably different. Hot Toys has TDKR and other DC properties, so no reason why they can't go after this one

I'm probably in for some of the 60's stuff, but if they can figure out this license, they need to get cracking on a 6 inch line of Tim Burton inspired Movie Masters, with a Keaton Batman and Nicholson Joker. I can't bring myself to get the Hot Toys versions.

I'd rather have a DVD release.

My bet is that DC Collectibles will probably be making these figures. I didn't see Mattel mentioned anywhere in the release.
If DCC does end up making the figures, I really hope they make them in scale with Mattel's Movie Masters line. Wish list:
History of Batman 3 Pack
Adam West Batman Lewis Wilson Batman Robert Lowery Batman
Singles
Batman Robin Joker Catwoman Penguin Riddler
Chase Figure: Batman with pink cowl
And of course...an in-scale Batmobile for the figures!

^ I have to agree with batfink.
I really don't see Mattel doing these, or even wanting to do these. The show may be super engrained in pop culture... But I just don't see these performing well at retail. If not retail, they would have to be matty collector. And it seems matty can barely sell anything.
DC Collectibles would be best. Hopefully we can get some of these in the rumored 4in line some people have been hinting at. Or maybe some "Select" type figures like what Diamond puts out.
I'll be all over Egghead, King Tut, and the villains.

If Mattel is completely unwilling to offer the 1989 Michael Keaton Batman characters in their Movie Masters line, or Christopher Reeve's Superman, then it is very unlikely they'd ever bother with the Adam West series either. I agree with others above who say this is better suited for DC Direct in the 6" scale and Hot Toys in the 12" scale.
Yet another reason why Mattel is completely clueless when it comes to what fans want.

If this license is seperate from the DC Comics license- wonder if Hasbro could swoop in and nab this license-- which would be awesome-- 3-3/4 TV SHOW figures---

I want a Set with Bruce, Dick, Alfred and Aunt Harriet in a playset that looks like the library, complete with Shakespeare Bust, Red Phone, and sliding book case revealing the bat poles. Comic Con Exclusive 2013
