I see Red Skull customs in this figure's future.

Seeing that business suit body just makes me want Lex Luthor in his black and white business suit And Bruce Wayne or an updated Clark Kent.

Meh.
He's probably my least wanted figure in the sub currently.

Just another suit... a jazzed up snazzy pimp of a suited figure but a suit none the less.

It is just a suit, and it may not even be an accurate suit he wore in the comics. But I like it! Maybe because I enjoyed the "War Games" storyline in the Bat-titles. Although, I wish we could get a early version of Sionis in the gangster suit, but that would probably cost too much in tooling dollars.

What I want to know is, if they're giving us cheap, suited characters, why not give us the suited Lex or Bruce that everyone has been asking for for forever? Come on.

Because of the large contingent of people who don't want the same characters we've seen at retail to be in the sub, as well...unless those characters are Wally West, Kyle Rayner, and Aquaman.

Right... I forgot that a 6" Lex Luthor in a business suit has been released in retail already. Oh wait.... he hasn't. Ever.

Right... I forgot that a 6" Lex Luthor in a business suit has been released in retail already. Oh wait.... he hasn't. Ever. Way to misread that. How many DCU Lex Luthor figures have we seen at retail? That's right. Three. Here, I'll try to rephrase this again for you: There is a large (or at least very vocal) group of fans who have said time and again that they do not want repaints or redos or newer versions or different versions of characters that Mattel has already made in DCUC or DCSH put into the subscription...plus, back in February, I asked Neitlich about getting Lex in a business suit (subscription or retail). This was his response: "The current suit body is a bit too thin for Luthor" Like Lex has to be a big fat guy or that anyone bulkier than Question or Sandman (or Black Mask) would ever be able to fit into that Powersuit Mattel loves so much. Those would appear to be the reasons why. A) Fans who are adamantly against newer versions of characters we've already seen (with conspicuous exceptions for Wally, Kyle, and Aquaman). B) Neitlich either thinks Lex has to be fat or just threw out some BS excuse because he doesn't want to do it.

Luthor I can kind of see the appeal in (as boring as it would be), but a suited Bruce Wayne would be awful. Plus I don't think I've seen anybody asking for him.
Black Mask gives us a new character and a good addition to the Bat rogues. Can't wait for him.

I would definitely take a business suit Luthor but put him at retail with their Superman movie line, not in the sub.
