Shown at the london Toyfair (and there are pics online) is the new lego line: Monster fighters. Each set comes with a classic monster(some are almost reuses of the ones in the minifigure sets) as well as a monster fighter character.
The Swamp Monster - monster fighter and Gill man Mummy- monster fighter and Mummy Were Wolf monster fighter and Wolfman Vampire Hearse monster fighter and Dracula
The Zombies monster fighter and Zombie Frankenstein monster fighter and Frankenstien monster and Mad scientist
Ghost Train monster fighter and 3 ghosts Vampire Castle - monster fighter and Dracula, bat creature, and dracula's bride.
Sets look pretty cool, but some of the monsters look like their minifigure predecesors.

I wonder if these will be available worldwide or if they are European exclusives ...?

So... They haven't received the Zombie or Frankenstein sets but the rest are there and they look great
It's too bad since those were the ones I most wanted it I'll bring my son out to the Lego store on Sun and let him decide which one to start with
The Ghost Train and Vampyre Castle are amazing sets. Very impressive work on those.

Guess I'm going to have to start saving my pennies now.
That is a beaut, but, OUCH!, that price tag stings. It will be the most expensive Lego set I've ever bought if I go ahead and purchase it.

I'm very tempted by that Haunted House as well. Glad I'm no longer a completist LEGO collector.

I finally saw most of these in person at Target. They look even better than I thought they would. And yes, that Haunted House is something to behold. I might pick some of these up at some point.

That haunted house is cool but can you imagine Lego making a kit of 1313 Mockingbird Lane or 0001 Cemetary Lane?...
(I know they won't make it with the subject matter of the movie, but how cool would the Bates home be with mother sitting in the window?...)

(I know they won't make it with the subject matter of the movie, but how cool would the Bates home be with mother sitting in the window?...) Since they have an ongoing relationship with Disney, I was thinking Haunted Mansion. The attraction, not the horrid film.
