Am I the only one excited about this?

But I'm really upset that the SDCC edition sold out before I could grab one for myself.

So who's getting one?

I'm not actually aware of what you're talking about. What Hot Wheels KR product are we excited about? I love KR, and I want to be excited.

I think he's referring to the SDCC K.I.T.T. Hot Wheels exclusive. And I think he is saying that the Matty pre-sale for said exclusive sold out already. For those who will be headed to SDCC and wanted to pay for ahead of time, that is.

I think a lot of the excitement is tempered by the fact that they still haven't shown us anything more than a box (unless something has been released in the past few days that I've missed).

I'd be happy finding the regular ol' K.I.T.T. on the pegs right about now.

$40. Box has lights and William Daniels dialogue.

Wait. Are you saying you can get one without pre-purchasing?

Can you just walk up and buy one?

Beta_Ray_Bryan, Mattel only puts a portion of its SDCC exclusives up for pre-sale. The rest are sold at Matty's booth on a first-come, first-served basis of daily allocations. Unfortunately, you have to be there early since a lot of their previous Hot Wheels exclusives sell out quick each day. It is a lot nicer to have the pre-order so that you are guaranteed the set.

Additionally, Mattel offers many of their SDDC exclusives on MattyCollector a week or two after the show closes. Please note: there is no 100% guarantee that the Hot Wheels exclusives will go on sale on MattyCollector since technically Hot Wheels is a separate division from MattyCollector. However, previous SDDC Hot Wheels exclusives, like the Back to the Future DeLorean, have been available on MattyCollector after the show so it is likely.

Thanks! I have a friend who's going so I'll see what I can get done.
