Found the new base sets at Target about three weeks ago. Case is apparently one boy, two of the new girl and one of the vampire/sea monster (with two torsos now).

Darn. I am guessing that I will have to overpay and get this set

The Monster High Playset is out at TRU.

I'm in the East, but not quite the coast Actually, I was shocked when I saw it because we don't usually get things first. We aren't last, but certainly not first.

It is currently sitting in the trunk of my car. With Monster High, you never know how items will sell, although this is big enough and pricey enough that despite stores apparently only receiving two schools each, they should be around until the Christmas season hits. But I didn't want to chance it not being there when I wanted to buy it. So my daughter will get it either this summer for good grades (I always get the girls something for bringing home very good report cards), or it will sit in the attic until Christmas. Or I find it cheaper. You never know either about what Target and Walmart will carry these days.

That said... not surprisingly, the custom MH Schools just blow this one out the water! I am curious to see it together though, as it's not the typical, recycled Barbie Dreamhouse design.

I found a regular release Cupid at Walmart, along with a bunch of the first edition dolls. Cupid appears to be dressed in the same outfit as the 1600 Walmart Exclusive, except now she has her diary. But she is still accurate with no pet.

The TRU Werecat Twin Set seems to be popping up again, so that's good news for those who missed it. I wonder if we will see the Target Howleen Set show up in decent numbers again.

I was also able to use a 20% Off TRU Rewards Coupon on my previously purchased Monster High School Playset. It saved me $20 bucks!

Seems to be a Walmart only case, one of the guys at the .org buys directly from Mattel and this case isn't available for purchase to him. Lagoona 2.0 is coming in a case with Venus and Robecca that should be at all retailers.

I still think it is odd that I saw a Lagoona and no one else. I don't think it came from a new case.
