Seeing as Mattel never felt a re-release was warranted, things like this will happen.

I am still so surprised they are doing these last 3 packs

Nearly every line will have it's hard to get figures. With hundreds of figures this line was bound to have a few and considering how many figures released at retail there are I'd say maybe about 8 that are what I would call hard to get now. I saw all of them except Volcana at retail multiple times too but I wasn't collecting JLU when she came out.
Might be forgetting some but this is what I'd consider hard to get figures now you'll shell out anywhere from $30-$125 for each of them that were at retail.
Aquaman (orange) Volcana Atomic Skull Shadow Thief The Key Commander Steel Vibe B'wanna Beast Business Suit Luthor
Hell there is a Dr Fate MOC for $75 on Ebay. People will overprice stuff all the time.

KG Beast sold for $71 Eclipso sold for over $60 Blackhawk for over $50
and a few more, so Id say there are at least 15-20 worth over $30 and then 100 worth less then $10 lol and a lot of those 100 sell for less then $2 lol

I sat down last night with my son and opened up every JLU figure I still had in the package. And man did I have some rare ones.
But you know what? It'll be much more enjoyable to me for him to play with those. Can't take the cash with me.

I'm really looking to get some more loose JLU or DCIH because those fit pretty well with my batcave, hall of justice, some of my vehicles...etc.

NO - GIVE ME YOUR CHILD'S TRANSLUCENT VOLCANA. THEY WILL NOT APPRECIATE IT AS MUCH AS I WILL.
(I'm kidding. Kinda.)
I'm also surprised by some of the prices of these figures on Ebay. I guess I thought things like the shoddy plastic would affect their long-term value, but silly me...a bottle cap can sell for 100 dollars if it's rare, right?

See this is the thing, we know they would've had to make a large enough number of the hard to find packs to warrant "turning the machines on" so where did they end up? I wonder if one day these will be found in some dusty cases in a warehouse and will be sent out to discount stores.

Heck, I got the two 6-packs in at $20 a figure earlier this year and filled in some members missing collection holes, and now this time it cost me $40 each figure. I'm done at these prices. Ill find good homes for these last two figures and call it quits, unless I can find them for people at cheaper prices.

An- Gel, you have done more than enough as far as that goes. But that is extremely expensive.

I remember my first two rare 6-packs only cost me a Thanagarian & Eclipso 6-pack trade.
