Beyond was such a great show.

BB was in the middle in term of quality (altough ROTJ is the BEST Timm movie). My order, best to worst: 1) JLU 2) New Adventures of Batman 3) Justice League 4) Batman 5) Batman Beyond 6) Superman 7) Static Shock Skip about 100 spaces 108) Zeta Project Of course, a lot depends on the season as well. I liked the final season of Superman more than the first season of Batman, and so on. And I liked the episodes of Static where a DC character would guest star better than the typical episdoe of Batman Beyond. And the Superman episode with Aquaman trumps everything except JLU (and even a good chunk of those).

IMHO, she is more Waller than Kalibak; and even if she were as demanded a character as Kalibak was... Kalibak still failed to sell the way Lobo and Giganta did. Anyways... Assuming JLU ends in a high note...
Assuming the Toyman/Destiny/Firefly 3-pack sells out overnight...
Assuming some Executive above Toy Guru's payscale continues to see JLU as a low budget line that they can continue to milk...
And assuming all that leads to more offerings... I would recomend they maintain the 3-pack SKU and breakout most slots into "equal parts" Batman/BB, Superman & JLU characters. One slot for characters of each series instead of "themed packs" that could potentially alienate some customers. In other words, by following the the Toyman 3-pack blueprint, they could ensure "maximum appeal" accross fans from all series. Which is better than putting all your eggs in one "ugly New God" basket. But still... all that's just a pipe dream. I know. Nonetheless, I'm willing to bet that JLU's performance will end up playing an important role in the near future. It may even tip the scales in favor of a Young Justice Mattycollector offering. I mean, you never know, right?!?

It would be nice to see these characters from the Superman series get made:

Are we talking about lines or shows? I think the JLU line was definantly better than the superman one. But superman the animated series SHOW was better than jlu in my opinion

Giganta didn't actually sell that well at all. In fact, I think she was failure number one.

Nothing but a pipe dream now, but I wish they'd have done (or do) a Return of the Joker set through DC Direct, like they did for Superman: Doomsday. Sadly, the designs for Superman: Doomsday were (mostly) awful, which I believe is why they didn't sell. It would have been interesting to see what might have happened if they had released nice-looking figures rather than squish-face Supes and scrawny Good Humor Lex.
That said, I scooped up TONS of those for customizing (and a squad of Fortress robots) at pennies on the dollar, so there was a silver lining to that cloud.

I got mine from someone here who was given a bunch of them and I only had to pay shipping for it. Maybe Mattel thought she was successful but I doubt it.
