I think I'd mix your two waves in a blender and make this:
Morrison JLA 1. Green Lantern Kyle Rayner (original costume) 2. Flash Wally West (metallic costume, white eyes) 3. Huntress 4. Aztek 5. Zauriel (golden eagle armor version) 6. Prometheus CNC: The General

I'd be for a wave like that. It's a good way to knock out a lot of those popular 1990s characters that were in the Total Justice/JLA toy lines. I'm not only a Super Powers fan, but also a Total Justice/JLA fan and want to see the rest of that line's characters released in DCUC too.

Aztek Flash Wally West (metallic costume, white eyes) Impulse Green Arrow Connor Hawke Prometheus The Ray White Martian C&C
With a Matty 2-pack of Flash John Fox (blue costume) and Triumph!

Weirdly the Captain Marvel that we have is the 90's version.
also Maxima is a great character, she should be in more comics(and toys)

Without going through this thread again I'm sure I've already posted about my anger at the lack of 90's guys, but I'll reiterate it again without clogging up the "Pick One DCUC" thread. Hook Hand Aquaman is probably my most wanted figure at this point. If we never got Wally or Kyle in their 90's looks I could almost live with it, using the Kyle we got in GLC and the TRU excl Barry in Wally's place. But for me the hook and beard Aquaman IS Aquaman. His orange and green costume for me just reminds me too much of his poor role in Super Friends and has not aged well at all. When a character is known for his super power of being able to talk to fish, he needs a bad ass look to even out his seemingly useless super power. When Mattel said a while back that this look for Aquaman was not in their immediate plans my heart broke (ok maybe not that serious, but I couldn't think of a better way to word it). Hopefully since they actually singled him out they'll get the idea of how important he is.

THANK YOU ! I was looking for this thread the other day ! Hook hand Aquaman, 90s Kyle Rayner, 90s purple suit Catwoman and 90s Huntress are must haves for me. Even Zauriel deserves a place on peoples JLA I think mattel has really done ony proper 90s figures since Knightfall Bats ?

Yeah I really hope they start hitting up some more of the 90's designs and characters.

I finally bought an electric blue Superman yesterday because I've been reading the 90's JLA comics instead of most of the DCnU. I'd love to see a lot of these made for that 90's JLA faction of the shelf.

That Morrison era of the JLA is fantastic. Very few comics go on my "must read right away" and "reread multiple times" piles. Morrison's JLA and Loeb's Superman/Batman run are two of them.
We really need the rest of that JLA Wally West Aztek Zauriel Huntress ...

I forgot how many characters I liked during the 90s that no longer exist for no good reason. Aztek, Impulse, Green Arrow Connor Hawke, Prometheus, Zauriel, The Ray...! It makes me wish I held on to my Total Justice/JLA figures just for the characters.
The only characters that really seemed to survive prominently is Kyle Raynor, some version of Superboy (Conner Kent, Kon-El, whatever!) and Bane. I am sure I am missing some though.

PROMETHEUS IS A MUST HAVE !!! Connor Hawke is also a good one. The Ray is not bad either but Aztek at least had a somewhat major role if I recall when he went blind.
