Toy: $299 for the Lego Deathstar with all the minifigures
Action Figure: $200 (or was it $250?) for the Predacons boxset re-release a couple years back.

hmmm........ a single toy...
I've paid $175.00 for a case of Doctor Who Series 4 BAF Vespiform (case of 12 figures, each one had a BAF piece)
I've paid 50 for my Walmart Gordon, bought the first one on eBay
I really haven't paid much for anything... even my Doctor Who stuff...

$125.00 for a Playmate Toys Voyager ship. Why do I remember that so well? That was the first and only time my wife(then girlfriend) ever had an argument regarding our collection. When I should have been paying a bill I bought a toy. Luckily I've grown since then. Although I still haven't opened it up and displayed it That has more to do with my guilt though. She's long forgotten about it

The most I've ever paid for something is the Robotech Skull Leader VF-1 Masterpiece Editions at $60. Generally I wait til things go on clearance cause I hate paying retail or higher cause if you're patient you can find stuff deals.

Ive lost count--
Toy-- probably- 199 for UCS Blockader Runner (for myself)- -- 400.00 for Barbie for my wife
95.00 for a Kubrick-- (Im a little ashamed of that one) Per piece price isnt high- but a got a lot of 12 laser beasts for 325 and that might get trumped if they do a second run of Oktober guard figures
with Statues and cels Ive gone over the 300 mark more times than I can count.

Now I own actual props and pieces from the classic Doctor Who series. But I wouldn't have thought to consider them toys.
Stew do you have any classic Sundow animation cells from maybe GI Joe or Transformers? I'd love to see some of those if you do.

Nope- most of mine are Batman Animated Series sericels and spinoffs , although I have a few disney and some other assorted ones- like TMNT, an Ewoks, a She-Ra-- no sunbow-- and to be honest I probably wouldnt- the few cels I have seen for those get expensive (damn joe collectors)-- but also the level of animation on them just looks cheap and undetailed.

Oh can we see some Ewoks sometime when you get a chance? I haven't seen that cartoon since I was a kid.
That's cool though, I've come close to buying some Transformers cells but only because I'm a fanboy, I agree they don't look the best.

$100 for the MP-01 Masterpiece Convoy (Optimus Prime) - the Takara one from Japan with the die-cast parts. That thing is worth it.
