Fellow AFi member MYXLPLYX posted in another thread about an upcoming SDCC 2012 Lego exclusive Captain Marvel minifigure. (Call him SHAZAM! if you need to. But we all know the real deal) Yes, Lego is up to it's old tricks again, playing Tapestry Picard with their bread and butter. Between SDCCs and International Toy Fairs, Lego has dropped some impossible odds on real Lego fans worldwide by trickling out extremely limited minifigures. So, without further ado, here is an Unofficial AFi Lego SDCC 2012 Want List.

Here's my hope for this thread, and some guidelines as well: In the slight chance that some AFi members happen to attend SDCC this year and manage to acquire the Captain Marvel/SHAZAM! Lego minifigure and if they were willing and/or able or otherwise don't want it for themselves, and they don't mind, well...there's a Wish List. If you want to be added, simply post your wish to be added in the thread itself. Don't PM the request, please. The following list simply reflects the order in which requests are posted, and not necessarily the exact order by which AFi generosity is doled out. Trader's discretion. Keep in mind that I am not a mod, so I have no real power here, and that this thread can be locked down or otherwise be scattered to the four corners of the interweb at a moment's notice. I have no clue if Capt. Marvel is a freebie, or if he costs anything. So, terms of any trades will be handled by the person's involved, be they actual trades or cash value. Maybe we can spread the love, a la the Unofficial JLU Want List or other official AFi Want Lists. Maybe we can even open this up to include other Lego items or Minifigures if this gains steam? In the spirit of full disclosure, I have added myself to the list, as I would like one of these myself. Here we go!

UPDATE: There are apparently three other SDCC Lego exclusive minifigures in addition to Captain Marvel...Bizarro, Venom, and Phoenix. I have added them to the list, just in case.

UPDATE #2: I saw a pic of the supposed 'Venom'. He looks more like Symbiote Spidey to me, so I'm going to list him as both until I see clarification.

UPDATE #3: I'm going to call him Spidey from now on.
