These were on clearance at TRU when the DC Direct Versions didnt sell.. -Youre telling me that DC COmics as a whole cant support a sub- but Watchmen can I really wish there was some kind of flow chart diagram for the Mattel Action Figures decision making process..

This is AWESOME! I have been wanting DCUC styled comic Watchmen figures for forever! Also glad it is only a 6 figure run so I don't have to spend a ton of money.

I love Watchmen as much as the next DC aficionado but how long could a Watchmen subscription go on for.

A subscription! How fantastic! I will FINALLY get some of the action figures we've ALL wanted in the Watchemn line that they've never produced! How long until we get Dr. Malcolm Long? Or Janey Slater? Or and Aline and Joey 2 pack with Hustler Magazine accessory and newsstand diorama backdrop?
This is the brass ring, people! This will outlive the JLU, mark my words!
Ah, crap. I missed the part where it's finite. All that clever snarkiness gone to waste. I still say it isn't going to be a big $$ bringer for Mattel.

I second this. I've wanted comic-style Watchmen figures since I saw the unreleased DC Direct sculpts from 10+ years ago. The fact that it's a finite run just sweetens the deal. Count me in.

I'm very excited about Mattel Watchmen figures! A sub is even better, no hunting these down. It's cool to keep it at six figures too. The core team is good enough for me. So excited!!!

Nice! Kind of a nice replacement for the Voltron sub -- one and done.
It's not for me. This money can go towards a few Sideshow and Hot Toys DC product that I really want in 2013 (like, a drop in the bucket towards), but it's a cool sub for Watchmen fans.

I love Watchmen - I hope this is gonna be damn cool. I was expecting this would be a line I had no interest in at all - I was very wrong.
Is anybody really bummed it's not Major Matt Mason instead?

Pass. More money saved.
Although a Nightowl and Roschach (spelling?) would be tempting.

I'll buy these but not a sub. I will not subscribe to Mattel until they find a better company to run their subscriptions
