Wow, sorry about that. I honestly had no idea he was so expensive. When I bought him, he wasn't over $25, and I think I managed to get him for under $20. At those prices, I wouldn't buy him either (and it makes me consider selling him like I sold my Vision).

I wonder how the '94-'97 Toy Biz 5" Beasts would work...

What's worse is I totally want the Dark Beast variant too.

And funny you should mention the pre-ML Toy Biz Beast...I was looking through my old toys a couple months back when I moved, and I remembered how big and out-of-scale those X-Men and Avengers box sets were to the 5" toys of the time. On a whim, I compared Beast to a couple of Legends figures, and he's not a terrible fit at all.

Well, if he fits with 6" figures, he'd probably look like he got into Hank Pym's stash if put with 4" figures.

Mysterio and Rhino! Let's see, we've already got Electro, so to complete the Sinister Six we need a good Doc Ock, Sandman and one of either Vulture or Chameleon. You could also sub somebody out and put Kraven in since we're geting him too.

Kraven already belongs in the Six over Rhino. Heck, so does the Hobgoblin.

We really just need Vulture and Sandman and we're set. I wouldn't count on a third Doc Ock, but we never know. I just recommend to everyone to hunt down the Superhero Showdown version before his price starts to skyrocket as well (and in fact, I don't even know, it might already have).

I've been trying to get a Showdown Doc Ock for a while now. I just haven't found one at a price I'm willing to pay.

I second Sean's recommendation of SHS Doc Ock, although the ASM one is passable. Not great by any means, but passable.

The Sinister Six is Ock, Electro, Mysterio, Kraven, Vulture, and Sandman. And like I said, any scale works for Sandman, really. What we need is the Vulture. And then a Vulturions four-pack.

Too small for my liking. I'd have to keep them separate from MU. Which would kill me. I'd really want to have some awesome Marvel vs DC dioramas.

That's a shame.

Tiger Shark's grin is a "bit" on the toothy side but those three Masters of Evil figures rock! I'm glad to see most of the stuff we've waited for over the year is still on the way but I was REALLY hoping for a completed Black Knight. If the Inhumans and Rogue showed up then where is the Knight? Or bearded Thor and Death's Head for that matter?

The comic packs are nice enough. 80's Magneto looks like he's using Warlock's head. Lots of reuse in these packs. The 70's Falcon is my favorite. Doc Strange in all blue looks cool. She-Hulk is sporting her Avengers gear in her pack. Rad.

As for Spidey villains, I wasn't aware that there was a 3 3/4 Shocker out there. How is the articulation on him? He's kinda pricey at the moment.

Shocker's articulation isn't terrible, but it's nothing to write home about.

Back when he was going for about $20, I'd say he was for completists only (which I definitely am). For what he's going for now, I think I'd wait and hope Hasbro sticks him in a comic pack or something.

Guys, I want you all to aware before you fork over the money and spend for the Magneto and Captain America 2-pack that will be available very soon. The lower arms they have used on that old Cap body are the arms from Taskmaster. I know this for a fact because I tried the same thing and if you look closely in this pic I copied from Marvelousnews, the upper arms of Cap do not quite fit "evenly" for the lower arms of Taskmaster. I know because I tried and you can tell the difference. I just wanted you all to be aware of this before you purchase and that it will look uneven as it does in the pic. Okay, back to kitbashing.

Doesn't matter to me. I haven't seen a MU Magneto that I've liked yet. I have the one from the first comic pack, but he's one of my least favorite figures in this line.
