Are we sure they aren't just changing the All-Star label to Unlimited?

I know some will fall over from shear joy at the idea of a West Batman line, but I really wanted a Burton movie Batman line

DC action figures at retail is what I was most interested in and I'm still not sure what's going on exactly.
Just small waves of 6 inch figures?
So the 1960's Adam West Batman toys are a retail line? I wonder if these will be big sellers with the general masses unless they are accompanied by an official DVD release of the TV show.
Because of my age, I would kill for a Tim Burton Batman line. Not really jazzed for 1960's stuff though at the moment.

I could go for some '66 figures. Not many, but some.
Honestly, though, I'd prefer the '66 costumes and looks on the DCUC bucks. I know it wouldn't be completely accurate (because God knows that West and Ward weren't built like the Adonises that the Horsemen designed), but at least the scale and style would be right on. Hopefully, figures like King Tut or Egghead, should they even get that far, would be "fudgeable" with the standard 6" line.

I suspect we'll see Egghead sooner rather than later. You know how they love their 'suit body' buck for Movie Masters.

I think I'd rather have them be as accurate as possible. The body types were always hilarious to me.

I think Mattel may over estimate that one. Also its a shame they cant do 6 inch or at least nice 4 inch figures based on the AWESOME DC animated movies.I think video game based toys will take over

I'm kind of disappointed they didn't show or announce anything besides wave/asst. one for DC Unlimited. I’m planning to get New 52 Superman, Flash, and Hawkman, but it would’ve been nice to know if there’s more coming. As for the other stuff, I’m going to have to see the ’66 Batman figure before I can make any decisions about them.

So here we go again. Back to the beginning. I know its the new 52, but to me, they are the same characters in different costumes. Where is the new, previously unmade hero for me to get excited about? In the IE sub? Yes, but what is there to draw the collector to these "collector oriented" lines?
Somewhere along the way Mattel forgot that they needed Batman or Superman in every wave to insure sales.
Also once again, we have Mattel and DC Direct mirroring each others offerings. DC Direct is starting with the Justice League, so what does Mattel offer but the same characters.
It will be interesting to see where both lines go.
