Meh I mean I know some liked the 60s show but come on if theres a market for this theres a market for a JLU/BTAS line. I mean they have been releasing the BTAS and TNBA episodes on random dvds anf showing them all over tv just price them right. I mean wave 1 correct colors 2 face, Dick Grayson Robin, Batman, Harley and Joker only 1 newly tooled figure and lots of slaes I promise. But the 60s show for people in my age rage, just turned 30, just is not cool. I may get Joker if he looks got but after seeing the Batman figure I am allll set oh maybe False face if he looks good just because he is different but old over all would much rather some Burton figures or cheapo dollar store like JLU/BTAS line.

The difference is that there have been JLU/Timm figures ad nauseum for twenty years. There has been 45 years of people wanting a Newmar Catwoman or Craig Batgirl and no product to support it. That said, I don't know how well these will perform at retail, but the old Batman series is classic in a way that no current cartoons are likely to be.

Oh god if there's a DVD release alongside of these by a miracle... that would be amazing!
I think the odd characters will sell better along with Catwoman... actually forget that I think villains would sell better like Egghead or Bookworm or King Tut the really obscure ones if cast in the likeness of their actors! long with the main four, Joker, Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman... (which you can get what 3 variants out of based on actress) Just sop much novelty there!

Question - is the picture on the main page from the Mattle panel? It looks like The symbol in the upper left corner. What was the context of the image? Also, has anyone confirmed that Hot Toys will be using the 60s Batman License to make figures? Im assuming so, but havent seen it reported. I am SO excited about 60s Batman products. A figure line is a dream come true for me - something I've wanted since the late 80's when I first say this show on the old Family Channel network. Weither we get 100 figures or only 2, Im in. I do hope that the porportions on these figures from Mattel look good. Im not a huge fan of how a lot of the DC figures look in terms of body porportions.

I read somewhere that these would be Movie Masters figures, but I have a nagging suspicion Mattel will once again fall short in the scale and articulation departments. Too bad, 'cause I would love to add guys like King Tut to my DCUC Batman display.

You guys make me crazy!
They announce an Adam West Batman, but first somebody wants Tim Burton Batman stuff, then somebody else wants more JLU, then somebody else wants an obscure villain like King Tut. Nobody here is ever happy! Ya always want something else.

Assuming they are shooting for total accuracy here, it's going to be funny seeing a Joker with a moustache painted white like the rest of his face. Definitely eager to get Newmar's Catwoman and Craig's Batgirl though. Always wanted a Batgirl in that purple/yellow version of the costume. Also... Yay to me for predicting the release of this line a few days ago!

The purple Batgirl is my BIGGEST want from this. I have always loved that look.
