On the one hand, I'm kinda excited, however, I've seen all the 6 inch Iron Man figures hanging on the pegs. Hopefully it won't just be rehashes. The BAF looks like classic Iron Monger And the Iron Man is probably a Mark VI (it has the triangular unibeam). So that leaves four or five other figures. Granted, Hasbro might go the cheap route, but assuming it actually spends some money, here would be some good choices. Sunterion Classic Ghost Space Armor Rescue Force Blizzard Mystic Armor Dreadnought There are others, but you get the idea. This could be cool or it could be a bunch of rehashes. Obviously, I'm hoping for the former. Heck, I could live with a newer Manadarin. I just hope it's not endless kitbashed armors, especially since there's a handful of canon armors left.

A six inch scale Iron Monger from the comic would be... AWESOME! My favorite issues of Iron Man to this day is issue 200!

Perhaps a Movie-style Iron Patriot?...

i dig the thought of the classic Ironmonger suit as a BAF. I would have also loved a BAF Firepower....it could have been the "bomb" with removable nuke and other bombs....(my custom version needs a repaint/update). I agree with Shellhead...this wave has possibilities...i like many of his choices, esp Space and Mystic Armor. i would also like an updated Mandarin and maybe a classic Blacklash.
hopefully they won't offer mostly repaints.

I always wanted a classic Ghost. I'd like a Spymaster too.

I'd love to see classic Ghost, Blizzard, Rescue and most of all, Beetle.

I'd like to see classic 80s Iron Man with a removable face plate like they made in the past just with the updated bodies they use now but with two versions. One with Tony and another with Rodey's face.

I'd LOVE a Ghost and Spymaster, and I'd army-build the hell out of a Dreadnought, but I just don't know. I would've assumed an Iron Man 3 Legends to be all movie-styled toys, if not for the reveal of the comic-style Iron Monger. My (mostly) conservative guesses: -I think the Mark VIII armor is a safe bet. -If Iron Man debuts a second new armor in the movie, so is that one. -War Machine in some way or form, most likely in the "Iron Patriot" deco from the movie. -A comic-style would be amazing, since they seem to be in the movie, but too much of a pipe dream. Maybe at 3.75" scale. -Whiplash, in either comic or movie form, would not surprise me. And would be welcome either way. -Mandarin, same deal.

Id take the Blizzard- and I will admit I am not an Iron Man fan-- the rest you listed I could Care less about (let alone heard of) (well other than Rescue- but thats only because of SHS)
As far as Cal's Beetle comment-- I would only want the original old school smaller armor-- because Im fine with that -- since I already have a Bulked up armor version from the SM classics line.
Maybe a Jury Member if you are keeping to the armor theme--
Although I can think of only one character that deserves the Legends treatment,
STILTMAN-- Thats it - thats the list- and if the want they can do Lady Stiltman from the recent Villians for Hire Miniseries..

I like the Jury. I had a friend custom Sentry (their leader) out of an IM Guardsman.

To be serious-- is there a difference between Scientist and Soldier uniforms? -- or are you just looking for a weapons swapout

There might be a difference, but I'm not even being that specific. Even if they just tried a "real life" take on the classic costume, or streamlined it a bit, or put them in battle armor, it's all welcome variety.
But just to reiterate my position, I'm not looking for more 3" AIM soldiers. I'm looking for 6" ones. I'm saying 3" are more likely, and I'd buy 'em if they made 'em.

I really enjoyed the old Toy Biz Iron Man line and I would love to see some of the characters Shellhead listed but I would include Whiplash and Whirlwind. A Stillman BAF would be AWESOME!
