Dear Mattel
Recently in the new Evergreen Batman line there was a new mold batmobile that has been shown to be capable of fitting the DCUC figures. Is there any chance that we could see this batmobile repainted and re-packaged in a set with a DCUC scale Alfred (repainted Joker buck with new head) or a Batman with a cape that would allow him to sit in the car in the Signature Collection or some other venue?
I was just wondering, is there any reason why accessories aren't reused/shared more often? Thinking back on the Batman Legacy figures there were many figures who didn't come with accessories, some who have iconic and needed accessories like Catwoman. Why did she not come with a whip, and why didn't the various Batman figures just recycle different batarangs, grappling guns, or any other already produced accessory for some of these figures instead of them coming with nothing?
One last question, are our days of seeing the added articulation in the DCUC figures over? It seemed like it was well accepted by the fandom, and a lot of people are waiting for added articulation to be placed in the All-Star characters like Batman and Superman. Is there any reason why Mattel doesn't seem to want to make these figures? Sorry I guess that was two questions in this.

I'm new to the AFI forum and have a couple of questions about "Imaginext" and "Hero World" lines:
1) Any plans to expand the Imaginext DC line to include women characters (Wonder Woman, Harley, Hawkgirl, etc) and any plans to expand the Superman Imaginext line (Lex Luthor, Metropolis playsets, Fortress of Solitude playset, etc)?
2) I just started collecting the Hero World line and want to know if ATROCITUS, SINESTRO, and HAWKMAN will be available in retail stores or are they gone? I never saw them locally and can barely find any reference to them online. I know they exist, but no one seems to be selling them, not even on ebay.
Thanks! RickWJ324

Hello, Matty!
Regarding the final six Matty Collector exclusive Justice League Unlimited three packs: Why wasn't a subscription option considered for these? While it wouldn't save collectors on shipping, it would have helped in avoiding a once-a-month-for-six-months ordering hassle. A subscription could also have been used to offer JLU fans some sort of subscription bonus figure or item, such as a Justice League Unlimited Volcana figure.
Thanks!

Hi, Matty!
Can you absolutely rule out the possibility with one hundred percent certainty that Mattel will never ever make, produce, or otherwise release any further Justice League Unlimited action figure product after the six remaining Matty exclusive Justice League Unlimited three packs have all been released?
Thanks!

Thanks! I know the answer to this one. It's because they know exactly how many JLU fans there are still. All of the JLU product they have ever sold on Matty all sell about the same (less than 100 units difference) and the amount of those fans not enough to warrant putting money towards the overhead it takes to run a sub like that. The solicits for Batman and DC Unlimited indicate that each line is going to contain between 10 and 12 figures for the entire calendar year of 2013.
Is this true? How often can we expect a new mix to be released, given how few figures are in each wave?

At SDCC, it was mentioned that there would be new Ghostbuster figures in 2013 based on the movies. What can we expect regarding new GB figures in 2013?

We didn't see or hear anything about Action League figures at SDCC. Is this line still going or has it been cancelled?

What can you tell us about the relationship between Mattel and Hallmark? Will there be Barbie and Hot Wheels Ornaments beyond 2012?

MOTUC Question: The last time we heard about the status of MOTUC, you said that the line was doing more than well enough to continue. Why the sudden news of doom and gloom and the line ending? With this news, what are the chances that you'll focus on the main players from MOTU, POP, and NA for the duration?

It was mentioned at sdcc this year that there would be more ghostbuster items in 2013 relating to the movies. does this mean just prop replicas, or does it mean figures and accessories, too, just nothing for the retro real ghostbusters line and nothing from the game?

Is it done, and will the wave (singles with accessories, Larfleeze, Plastic Man as a glider, etc) and the 5-pack that were shown have a normal/wide release?

Hi Matty,
The Collect and Connect figures from DC Universe Classics look awesome. Any plans for something like that for the new DC & Batman Unlimited line?
Seems like a win-win. I'll buy some figures I might otherwise pass on, but I get a sweet big figure out of it!
Thanks!

MOTUC. As we now have Fisto and will be getting his evil opposite Jitsu, what are the chances of getting both their steeds Stridor and Night Stalker? Does the fact that these characters, as with Battle Cat and Panthor, (being two figures from mostly one buck) mean that they are likely or has the drop in sub interest killed their chances of being made?
