I just left mine and it's still Spiderman here too.

I get the feeling that TRU got burned on Batman by Mattel and did not want to do it again. All the other films there was always plenty of product in stock and more than enough space at retail. Not so much this time.

Now with the added shooting in Colorado I doubt that they really care if they have any Batman product out to support TDKR.

I'm only going to collect Movie Masters figures and so far Alfred is the only one I'm missing, but I got lucky as I only found one or two of the others aside from Batman and Bane.

As a TRU employee i felt the need to chime in here

The display in the front of the store that you are referring to is known as the "feature shop". Toys R Us stores actually has no control over what gets put into that spot. TRU is given money to put toys in that display. Basically that spot is one big billboard that companies can pay to get advertised on.

As far a as a TDKR display going up, that is highly unlikely. I do know that the feature shop will once again display the Avengers in order to promote the dvd release. Whether or not something replaces Spiderman in the mean time, i dont think that will happen.

That's like back in the day the first end cap in the K-Mart toy aisle was always reserved for Barbie as Mattel paid for that space. It was meant for Barbie products but if we short of that anything else by Mattel could go there.

Usually a display is to promote the coming of a film. So if anyone was going to have a DKR display it would have happened by now. Like how Barnes and Noble received the shipper a few weeks before.
