I'm a Batman fan first and foremost, and I know as such I have a better chance of seeing my favourite characters be made into plastic than those from the rest of the DC universe. But if the sub doesn't go ahead, here are the characters that I hope Mattel can fit in somewhere...
Batman Family: Young Dick Grayson Robin (on small teen buck) Spoiler Alfred Commissioner Gordon Huntress (90's Morrison/Total Justice costume, Jim Lee costume and Earth 2 costume in that order) Nightwing (Perez disco collar costume on older teen/LOSH buck, 90's knightfall costume on slim adult buck) Poison Ivy ( classic look, white skin, green leggings) Killer Croc (but on the Etrigan buck NOT CnC and using same design as the tail-less DCSH version) Catwoman (Jim Balent costume) Ras Al Ghul Talia Mad Hatter Anachy KGBeast (on Public Enemies buck) Block Buster ( classic look on Etrigan buck) Scarecrow (using Sinestro Corp head)
Outsiders Black Lightning Katana Halo Geo Force (all in classic costumes)
DCU Kyle Raynor GL (90's Morrison era) Aguaman (hook handed, 90's Morrison era) Zauriel (90's Morrison era) Impulse (small teen buck) Aqualad (small teen buck) Tempest Mera Lois Lane Trickster Captain Boomerang (classic) Weather Wizard Heatwave
I'm sure there are more but for me that would round out most of what I need in a DC display.

Mera Elongated Man Wally Flash Huntress Hook Hand Aquaman Tempest Oracle Babs
I'm not saying those are the only figures I want, but those are the last LARGE gaps for me.
Sure, I'd like more villains, more women, and more Titans, but I could live with those.

I'd hazard a guess that there are pretty good chances of Huntress, Ra's, (regular) Scarecrow, either Balent Catwoman (he drew Selina in two costumes), another Nightwing, Classic Ivy, Lois Lane, and maybe Gordon and Alfred being released at retail. The Morrison JLA versions of Kyle and Aquaman and even Wally probably aren't longshots, either, but I think the others most likely are.

I don't think we'll ever see a comic Alfred at retail.
Maybe as a con exclusive somewhere down the line.
Gordon has a chance, however.

The fact he made it into the movie masters and his part in the third film is non existent at best I wouldn't rule out a comic based Alfred. Perhaps he'd be in a two pack or some store exclusive, sure but I think he's got just a good shot at retail as Gordon.

After what's finishing out the 2012 sub, of the stuff announced so far, I really want Phantom Stranger and the Brotherhood of Evil, but after that, Mera and Ambush Bug are really the only other ones I would get. Mento, Caulder, Magnus, a dp Beast Boy repaint and Anton Arcane would be easy sells on me, too, but I doubt we'll see any of those.

Oh... Anton Arcane... -drools-
If I can ever find another Empress of the Racnoss from Doctor Who... I plan on making his spider body as a custom!
